Set within the Fagaras mountain range of the Carpathians, Piscul Negru Hotel is situated on the famous Transfagarasan Road. When we checked in, we were very pleasantly surprised because the rooms are brand new and renovated. There are no photos uploaded to Booking yet, but the rooms have a completely renovated interior. The food is of a very high standard and is extremely tasty. The service is of a very high standard and the staff is very kind and courteous.

Great location, host were really kind and helpful. Fenced car park. Outside kitchen, plenty of room for kids to play. Room was excellent and clean.

In a quiet and scenic location at 1,200 metres above sea level, Hotel-Restaurant Siesta Balea is located in Piscul Negru on the Transfagarasan National Road. Location is amazing, you're in the middle of nature. There's also a stream of water passing close to the hotel which makes the experience even better as you can hear the relaxing sound of the water when you open windows. The room was great. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. The food at the restaurant is also tasty.

In an idyllic location in the Fagaras Mountains, between Sibiu and Braşov, Complex Pastravaria Albota offers horse riding, biking, fishing, archery and cycling options. The location is perfect, 30 min from Balea Cascade. The view from the appartment and from the restorant is amazing. The breakfast is very good. We also had lunch in the restorant - it was delicious. The staf is very friendly and helpful. We will definitly come back!

Perfect located right on the Transfagarasan. There are secured parking for motorcycles behind gate. It seems popular with motorcycle travelers doing the Transfagarasan. My room had a small balcony perfect for a afternoon beer after all the riding. Cold beers can purchased cheap across the street in a shop. There is a cafe 50 m away, which do simply hot meals.

Located in Arefu, next to the Transfăgărăşan mountain road, Pensiunea Bella Vista offers rooms with TVs. The on-site restaurant offers Romanian specialties and international dishes. This place had wonderful rooms, we had our own balcony, the beds were big and comfortable. The location was easy to find and not too far of a walk to the Vlad the Impaler fortress.
