The people make the difference. Sometimes you forget how good and kind people can be — and then someone like Richard (Richard and Isabel are the owners) comes along and reminds you. I arrived early at 08:00, before check-in time, after a long night train. I was tired, confused, and had many concerns about my ski plans (we dont ski in Israel, and it was my first time). Then I met Richard at the reception. He noticed my stress and calmly said, "Why don’t we start with breakfast? Allow me to take care of your belongings untill the room is ready." He truly wrapped me in care and kindness — and it meant the world to me. All my questions were answered by Isabel, who gave me great recommendations and guidance. Richard shared helpful ski tips, and I even received a lovely Easter gift — a small egg filled with chocolates. The place itself is very clean, breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the only downside is the distance to the ski area, which can be a bit challenging. To summarize — I 100% recommend this place. Wonderful location, big cosy rooms like home-away-from-home. Exceptionally good price/value-rate. Common room in basement is a life saver (because of weather!) while waiting the check-in. We recommend this place esp. for longer stay in Åre.

Ristafallets Camping fica em Nyland, Jämtland, a 18 km de Åre Train Station, e oferece acomodações com Wi-Fi grátis, um parquinho infantil, um terraço e estacionamento privativo grátis. The location was extraordinarily clean throughout the whole campground. The cabin was cute and served its purpose for my stay. The bathrooms were easy to access and everyone cleaned up after themselves.

Neighbouring Åre’s ski slopes, this lodge-style hotel is just 250 metres from Åre Train Station. It features a cosy fireplace lounge, free Wi-Fi and a restaurant serving traditional Swedish cuisine. Lovely hotel, in the chalet style with wood and fire places everywhere. We were warmly welcomed by the people at the reception and the food at the restaurant was awesome (both breakfast and dinner). Last but not least, the sauna was a big plus.

Localizado a apenas 140 metros do teleférico Bergabanan, o tradicional Hotel Åregården está situado no centro de Åre. the rooms felt freshly renovated and well-cleaned; the hotel is centrally located; the staff is friendly and helpful; the rooms are nicely equipped (the tub was appreciated)

Located in the popular Åre ski resort, this stylish hotel offers ski-to-door accommodation, views of Renfjället Mountain and free use of saunas, steam baths and outdoor hot tubs. Always a pleasure to visit Fjällgården! We had a lovely time, and the staff were very helpful. Location has brilliant views. Will definitely be back!
