Built in 2013, this hotel offers an in-house restaurant, free Wi-Fi and naturally furnished rooms with a tiled bathroom with shower and hairdryer. Läckö castle is 300 metres away. The surroundings are peaceful and the silence at night was wonderful, lovely decking by the lake for outside sitting, walking trails, good breakfast, lovely to see the interpretive centre being used so much. On site restaurant had good, well considered dinner menu.

We spent 3 nights at Upperud 9:9 as a family and had a fantastic experience. The location is exceptional - right by the lake, calm and atmospheric. The accommodation is comfortable and full of character. Breakfast was good, and the dinner was truly excellent. The staff were attentive and kindly accommodated our special requests, which we greatly appreciated. Highly recommended for a relaxing and memorable stay

Set beside Karlstad Congress and Culture Centre, this hotel is 5 minutes’ walk from central Karlstad. It offers free WiFi and modern rooms with a flat-screen Smart-TV. The breakfast was great. The person who checked us in was very pleasant and helpful and pointed out parking options. Also, there was free cocoa (hot chocolate) available 24 hrs., which was a nice treat after driving all day in cold, windy, rainy weather. Close to the world-famous rock bridge.

The hotel provides breakfast, fika and dinner. It’s excellent value! It also has a playroom for kids. The drinks in the hotel is very good price. We had a big room and super comfortable bed , love the bedsheets and pillows. We actually bought same brand after we back home!

Quietly situated in Lidköping's old town, this hotel is 350 metres from Lidköping Train Station. It features a restaurant and a smaller exercise room. Sauna access, WiFi and tea/coffee are all free. Easily best stay I've had in a while. The staff was extremely friendly. Great communication regarding breakfast and holiday hours. I travelled during Christmas and there was a little note and chocolate Santa Clause in my room waiting for me. The room was also nicely decorated with a very cosy feeling. The location was superb; walking distance to everything.

Breakfast, fika and dinner are always included when you stay at Home Hotel Drott. Home Hotel Drott lies directly opposite Karlstad Central Station. There is free sauna and hot tub access. I was late arriving the first night. The manager went out of her way to provide me with a delicious hot meal. The breakfast was very good.
