Great location Central to town, river, walks, buses. Close to train station. Lots of restaurants and cafes, shops. Great breakfast to start the day. Loveliest staff throughout the stay. You don't even need to leave the building to have a good break. 4 storey library, women's museum, art galleries, art cinema, 2 restaurants, grocery shop, all in the same building. Well equipped rooms. Great views. Staff were able to fit us in extra nights on the day our train was cancelled due to snow, much appreciated!!

Very cozy small B&B with nice modern and comfy rooms. The British owner couple (gotta love a good British accent!) is very friendly and takes good care of the place and their guests. Breakfast small but plenty and more then adequate for the low price. There is free outside parking right next to the house. Thanks a lot for the lovely stay!

Everything is perfect! We always plan our journey through Sweden to pass Lilla Hotellet. It is such a warm and friendly hotel and you will want to come back! The food and atmosphere is like being with family where there’s an awesome homecook taking care of us.

Rooms are well laid out. There are even 2 chairs, and lots of lighting. Blackout curtains, lots of sockets near the bed. Very clean. Temperature in the room is great. Bedding and beds great quality and comfortable.

This hotel is about 10 minutes' walk from Umeå Central Station and 3 km from Umeå Airport. Rooms at Scandic Plaza Umeå feature wooden floors, cable TV and a modern bathroom with a shower.

I called a few hotels in the city trying to request an early checkin, as my train to Umeå was to arrive very early in the morning. Scandic offered the smartest policy for an early checkin, staff was really helpful compared to other hotels that I called, and there were bikes for rent at the hotel, so I didn’t hesitate with my reservation. My room had a beautiful panoramic view and was spacious. Breakfast was good and was generously served until 11 am which was just great, letting more time to sleep. I was very happy with my choice and my stay in Umeå.
