Kusatsu Onsen Eidaya is located in Kusatsu. The property is a 10-minute walk from Kusatsu Yubatake and Kusatsu-Onsen Bus Terminal. The private onsen was perfect.

Boasting hot spring baths in a spectacular outdoor setting by Takaragawa River, Japanese-style hotel Takaragawa Onsen Osenkaku is a 10-minute drive from Hodaigi Ski Resort. The place was magical. The onsen is amazing, the room was traditional japaneese. While you don't have the luxury of a 4-5 star hotel, you don't really need it. The rooms are comfortable, sleeping in old japaneese fashion on a mattress on the floor is waaay more comfortable than expected (good for bad back). Big plus for the mixed ryokan, can join there with your partner. And the food was just super. Not to mention the staff, they were very nice. Highly recommend it!

I loved the hot bath that was provided. The space was intimate and perfect for one/two people. The heater option was great after a long day in the cold.

The ryokan welcomes children and our son even got his own yokatta

Hanaingen is an adult only accommodation situated in Kusatsu, just a 2-minute walk from Yubatake, or the hot water field in Kusatsu Onsen. Location, comfort, and service were all excellent. The Ryokan was equipped with very good facilities. Private onsens were available as well, although you need to take turns to use one of the 4 shower rooms.

This ryokan was the highlight of our trip to Japan. Excellent seasonal and varied breakfast options, with an attention to detail unparalleled in my travel experience. The soaking pools met our hopes and needs perfectly, and we preferred the private rooms to any of the town’s public onsens. Our room was very comfortable and quiet, and the location was great—away from the hustle and bustle of the main square. Staff were incredible—helpful, welcoming, and friendly despite our limited Japanese language skills! Would highly recommend for a quiet, peaceful stay.

Everything, the place, the architecture, the service, the onsens, the food and the staff. Everything was done to perfection and with so much aesthetics. The touch of a small gift for the birthday of my wife was so lovely. Thanks again to the lovely staffs.
