After a rough day with a car that completely broke down in the middle of the highway in southern Croatia, and a 3-hour wait for towing in 35-degree heat, a friendly tow truck driver finally arrived and took us to Metković. We had to find new accommodation, and we ended up at Apartman "SaraP" Metković. We arrived tired and hungry, and were immediately served drinks and homegrown watermelon. Then the host drove us into the city so we could eat, and picked us up when we were done. Without a car, we had to find a way to get to Split to rent one. The host was incredibly kind and drove us all the way to Split without charging anything. It truly warms your heart to know that there are such wonderful and kind people out there—especially when you're in a vulnerable situation. A huge thank you. I can only give this place a 10+. And the room was great. The best on our trip.

The hosting was impeccable from start to finish. We were looked after and heard at every turn, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Villa Danica itself is stunning, the pool and setting exceeded our expectations, and the listing photos were a great representation of what’s actually there. It’s also a fantastic base for exploring the region, with Bosnia and Herzegovina close by and well worth the detour for anyone staying here.

Everything was perfect. The apartment was very clean, communication with the host was easy and quick, and the whole agreement went smoothly. Great location, comfortable stay, and exactly as described. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Location is in a beautiful place, but the village is a bit off, so it's very suitable for a person or family with car. Host went above and beyond to make us feel at home, very helpful. Huge place, great for a family with kids to run around. Lovely terrace. Absolutely terrific, highly recommended.

Despite the heavy rain on the day of our arrival, Adrian went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, even offering us delicious homemade food and fresh fruits from the garden. It was a delightful surprise and truly made us feel at home. The location of the hotel is ideal, with easy access to restaurants and natural reserve areas, making it a great choice for those who appreciate both convenience and nature. The surroundings were serene and peaceful, providing a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The accommodations were wonderful - the rooms were spacious, clean, and cozy, providing a relaxing environment for a restful night's sleep. The attention to detail in the decor added to the overall charm of the place, making it feel like a home away from home. What truly set this place apart, however, was the outstanding service provided by Adrian. His genuine kindness and dedication to ensuring the comfort of his guests truly exceeded our expectations. We felt incredibly well taken care of throughout our stay, thanks to his attentiveness and helpfulness. Overall, our experience at this hotel was nothing short of fantastic. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in a beautiful location, coupled with exceptional service. We can't wait to return for another three-night stay in the near future.

Excellent accommodation. Clean, cozy, and well-maintained. The host was very helpful and responsive.

Good accommodation located in quiet area, but close to major road and close to several interesting locations like Kravica waterfalls, Pocitelj fortress... Parking is available on spot.

Words can't describe the magic, the uniqueness, the serenity of this place. We felt just like home for the moment we entered the house. Everything was impeccable, sparkling clean and nicely decorated. We had everything we needed for our stay. Not to mention the worm welcome we had, an attentive and nice host, that left for us so many presents. Thx for having us. All the best.

The host was extremely kind and welcoming. She went out of her way to introduce us to all the nearby attractions and activities, and even took care of making reservations and organizing everything we needed. The breakfast was perfect – delicious and fresh. The apartment was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. It had everything we needed to feel relaxed and completely at home. Highly recommended!

Marijana was amazing, met us at the house and showed us around. She was easy to ge ahold if if we needed anything. Will stay here again when we come back to Capljina
