Self Catering Accommodation in Beatenberg

It felt like a home away from home! The views were stunning and the apartment was really comfortable. Was nice to be able to come back, take a bath and watch a few movies after a long day of hikes and exploring. Did not want to leave this place!

This was one of the best properties I have stayed in. It’s spacious plus the view from balcony to Bernese oberland mountains is just stunning. Small details in apartment like cd player, egg holder, couch throw were amazing and made us feel home. This property is part of Dorint hotel group in Beatenberg. This is 20-25 mins bus ride away from Interlaken west bus station. Beatenberg doesn’t have too many restaurants or grocery store so better buy them in interlaken itself. This is good for quaint stay.

I appreciated the cleanliness and excellent location of the place. It had everything one could possibly need, which is not always the case—like coffee capsules, shower gels, tea, spices, and more. It truly felt like home.

Beautiful location. Away from hustle bustle of Interlaken. Good connectivity to railway station, from where you can travel to other parts of Switzerland. Ana was very helpful and despite bad health, she was always available to help. Her recommendations were really good. The only challenge is that most of places to eat near accommodation were either closed or used to close early so food could be a challenge at times once you are back to Apartment. Overall, really a good place and highly recommended.

Margret and Adrian were fantastic hosts and they made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The apartment is very spacious and well equipped. The views of lake Thun and the surrounding mountains are absolutely stunning. There are a few great attractions very close by but if you plan a longer stay, be prepared for a little bit of driving - it takes about 25 minutes to get to the city of Interlaken. Highly recommend!!!

Staying at this chalet was nothing short of magical. Surrounded by towering mountains, drifting clouds, serene lakes, and lush green meadows, it felt like a dream come true. The chalet itself was cozy, warm, and perfectly in harmony with nature — a peaceful retreat where time seemed to slow down. Every window framed a postcard-worthy view, and every moment spent here was calming and soul-refreshing. Whether sipping coffee on the deck, watching clouds roll over the peaks, or strolling near the sparkling lake, the experience was unforgettable. This is not just a place to stay — it’s a place to reconnect with nature, to breathe deeply, and to feel truly alive. I left a piece of my heart here and would return in a heartbeat.

The property is very clean and tidy. The mountain and lake view was very good especially in the morning and evening.

We stayed in a beautiful apartment in Beatenberg, just 15 minutes from Interlaken, and were pleasantly surprised by how spacious it was, more than enough for the two of us and our dogs. The kitchen was well-equipped with all the amenities needed for cooking, which was a great plus. We used the apartment as a base to explore Interlaken and nearby villages. Most points of interest were about a 20 minute scenic drive away, which made the journeys themselves a highlight. Our host provided clear check-in instructions ahead of time, making arrival smooth and stress-free. I can highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful, well-located stay in the region.

Perfect. The room was clean with comfortable bed and had everything we needed and more. The view is just wow, the best view we saw through all the vacation. The hotel is really nice and the pool and sauna makes it just perfect. The best choice we had.

Ula’s place was perfect for us. The apartment was super clean and comfortable, and the view is amazing. On top of all Ula made us feel right at home and helped us with everything we needed. The communication with her was clear as day. Couldn’t ask for anything more. We will definitely stay at this place again next time we’re in the area:)

This has to be the overall best place I’ve stayed at in the many years of travelling.. not many places tick all the boxes but Ralf and his family have really got it right. Bijou Waldeggli is perfect.

The view facing Alps is a sight to behold. The balcony view facing Alps and lake looked like a painting and we didn't want to leave the apartment. Swimming pool and steam pods were amazing. Breakfast was superb. Staff were kind. The village is mesmerising

The location is top notch & so is the place. It’s just so beautiful - the chalet, the view. The hosts are the most friendly & lovely people. 100% recommended!
