Self Catering Accommodation in Vasa Kilaniou

Our recent stay at The Yard House in Vasa was absolutely heavenly, and we can't recommend it enough! Just 4 km from the bustling Omodos, Vasa offers a peaceful escape with its charming stone houses, free from crowds and noise. From the moment we opened the wooden door, we were captivated. The house is a stunning blend of rustic charm and modern comfort, with beautiful stone walls, wooden doors, and tasteful furniture. We loved the cozy living area with a fully equipped kitchen and a fireplace (firewood provided!), perfect for relaxing evenings. The outdoor spaces are equally enchanting, featuring a small BBQ area and a lovely garden with seating under a tree. A unique and fantastic feature is the second bedroom and bathroom in a separate building in the garden, offering extra privacy. The house was spotlessly clean and incredibly well-equipped for both short and long stays. What truly made our experience outstanding, however, was the touching hospitality of Mr. Andreas. His warm welcome made us feel right at home. We will definitely be back!

The apartment is located at 1st floor. Everything is brand new, traditional Cyprus style the quietness of the village was excellent! The place clean, all inside brand new veranda. Was the perfect place to relax!!!! We cooked, we had a great walk around village, kids they were playing on the pitch next to the house.

It had absolutely everything we needed. From many provisions for all our needs - food, wine, coffee, cleaning products, bathroom treats etc- to a very clean and accessible home and lovely outdoor area. It was beautifully renovated and a lovely place to stay.

Authentic Cypriot place with extended facilities. Nice welcoming package of the owner. Very clean. Centrally located, but quiet area.

Everything you needed was available and set up. The house was very cosy and will definitely revisit in the winter months as there is a fireplace. Beautifully restored and private garden which was lovely for a coffee in the morning.

The place is a true paradise for cat lovers; the friendly cats around the property made us feel like we had adorable little co-hosts everywhere we went. 🐾 The view of the mountains is absolutely beautiful – perfect for morning coffee or a quiet evening. The village itself is cozy, clean, and incredibly peaceful. It’s the kind of place where nothing disturbs you, and you can truly relax and unwind. At the same time, it’s not far from the main towns of Cyprus, so day trips and exploring are very convenient. A perfect mix of tranquility and accessibility. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a warm, quiet getaway with a touch of nature and a lot of charm!

Perfection. Also the best restaurant in the area is just at the corner! Staff very helpful, we didn’t have an adapter and they provided Last morning of our stay I discovered we have a cafe freddo machine!

Amazing location. Bar opposite gave us lots of free drinks, such friendly people around. We felt right at home! Was extremely cosy, homely and surprisingly quiet considering we were in close proximity to the main area. Thank you! Will be back
