Self Catering Accommodation in Vimperk

The location was right in the historic center(Nam.Svobodi) - cannot be more center than that! It's a great place to stay for a weekend!

Nice location, the cottage reminded me of family vacation in my youth. Though a little bit more comfy, the feeling was there.

Host greets us at the door and explains every detail about the property. Barbecue stove is a bonus. Historical castle and some old buildings nearby. We just love it.

For us this apartment was a great way to stay in Vimperk and the region. The apartment is modern and well equipped, with everything we needed for a great stay. Our hostess was lovely and was easily reachable for queries (with some help from Google translate). The kids shared a bedroom and our comfy bed was in the main open-planned living area. While this was fine for us, it may not be ideal if you’re travelling with friends. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a coffee machine, and we were really pleased to have a washing machine after several weeks on the road. It was not particularly warm when we stayed, but the aircon is a real bonus for this attic flat. We were able to park the car securely in the large garage downstairs (and were fine to leave the car outside when the kids took over the garage with the table tennis table!). Best of all, we sat out on the roof terrace every morning and evening and enjoyed the view across to Vimperk castle. We walked into town along the river, and there were Lidl and Penny Market supermarkets within a 5 minute walk. We would absolutely stay here again!

This house is lovely — warm, quiet, and super cozy. There’s a lot of space, perfect for a big family. It has a washing machine, a big TV, and tons of games for the kids (which is super important these days, since kids are always online). The veranda is absolutely beautiful, and the kitchen has literally everything you could need — seriously, it’s so well-stocked! There’s always plenty of hot water, and even bath toys for the little ones. The host was always in touch and quick to answer any questions, which really matters. I totally recommend this place for a great stay.
