It is designed in the Bauhaus style which was one of the reasons we chose it. Dessau is known for many things but our visit was focused on the Bauhaus so this was ideal. Plus, we had a view of the main Bauhaus building from the apartment. The apartment itself was very comfortable, modern and stylish. The bed and pillows were lovely and the other furnishings to a high standard. Bathroom is spacious and small kitchen area perfect for short stays. The couple who own the building were delightful and helpful. The apartment also has lots of light. It is also close to the rail station, and many places of interest are in walking distance or a short bike ride or tram ride away. Highly recommend the Bauhaus Café for breakfast and lunch. Just 3 minute walk away. In the centre of town, 20 minute walk away, is an excellent Asian restaurant, Kaori. We had a superb dinner. Some of the best pan Asian food we’ve had. I wish we had booked a third night as there are several interesting places to visit in this area aside from the Bauhaus.

The house was massive, well furnished, spotless and in a quiet private neighborhood. 3 min walk from the tram and bus station, and 12 minutes walk from the main train station. There was a sauna, a private garden and heated floors. The host was thoughtful enough to add basic necessities, including pads and tampons, in the bathroom. Definitely making this my home for all my visits to Dessau.

Friendly host who really went the extra mile, accommodating our arrival and happily presenting the apartment. Our dog felt especially welcome as Julia had prepared bowls, a bed and a treat for her. The backyard is also fenced in, allowing our dog to safely hang out with us without the need for a leash. It was 40 degrees outside when we arrived, so we really appreciated the ceiling mounted air condition units in both the bedroom and living room, and the small pool where we could cool down. The apartment isn't big, but modern and well planned and had all the kitchen appliances, cutlery and utensils we could ask for. The lightning was really nice, as was the soft rugs, and there were tons of power outlets all over. There was also a cupboard with games, coloring books and pencils for the kids. And there's a nice supermarket a kilometer away. All in all, we had a great stay thanks to Julia's great care.

A beautiful, comfortable apartment with Bauhaus finishes. It is just like it looks in the photos - clean and lovely. We had a very restful and pleasant stay here. The apartment is a short walk to each of the main Bauhaus museums. We were grateful to be allowed a slightly earlier check in.
