Self Catering Accommodation in Blokhus

We stayed in apartment 7. It was very spacious and well appointed. Decorations tastefully done and kitchen was well equipped with good quality utensils, crockery and pots. The bathroom and shower are very modern and spacious as well. It also has a comfortable couch outside with blanket so one can enjoy relaxing in the morning sun. It is a motel so is on a "main" road, but we heard no traffic noise at night. Owners very helpful and attentive. A short walk to the Paper Museum and the Sand Castle and Sculpture exhibit is also within walking distance, but if you want to go to the beach or main town, you at least need a bicycle. Blokhus Bageri is highly recommended for lovely breads, pastries and coffee. Be prepared to queue at popular times :). Løkken Strand is also worth a visit for the exposed German bunkers.

Property is new and of great quality, good beds and beddings, functional and well equipped housing unit, we had all we needed. Facilities inside of it include nice minigolf, football golf field, much beloved covered trampoline area and a playroom - all machines free for use (no additional payments). There is also enclosed area with few massive bouncy castles. There is a restaurant which we visited twice for dinner, limited offer but good food and pleasant atmosphere. Host was superhelpful with instructions. We got early check in as house was available. Town with other restaurants , supermarket and gasstation and beach 5 minutes away. Fårup sommerland some 5-10 min a way.

Rooms are comfortable, clean and big. Facilities like playground, pool, etc. are good.

Everything totally matched the description and photos! The upstairs area and the layout of the rooms are super spacious. We didn't end up using the outdoor seating, so we can't judge that, but the inside was great. The house is right by the road, but we stayed in mid-August and it was completely quiet at night—the traffic didn't bother us at all (though it might be different at other times of the year). The location is strategic: we could easily walk everywhere—straight to the forest, to the shop, and even down to the sea in about 20 minutes on foot. Also, communication with the owners was top-notch—super clear, fast, and we got answers to everything almost immediately. We had a fantastic time here and really hope future guests enjoy it just as much!
