Great location, close to metro, shopping mall, restaurants and parks for a walk. Everything was clean. No noise during our stay, but walls are thin. Parking is not too far away on the 2nd floor with the roof over the car.
I absolutely adored the cottage, location, and facilities. It was very spacious and fitted a family well with 3 kids. The indoor temperature was excellent and with an option to regulate it. Loved the sauna! The fireplace was very nice and having fire wood provided was a very nice touch. Regarding the location, then we just took our skis and went on the hills (a tip! Definitely consider booking a ski instructor. She was the best!). Loved everything and will definitely consider coming back with a bigger group of friends.

Very nice and clean apartment; the owner Jussi was helpful all throughout our stay, responding to all our questions and even brought our luggage back to Helsinki when we went for a last hike on the day of our departure! My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay (7 nights) at Poppelstrand. Rachel gave us plenty of great hiking recommendations, and was so kind and helpful throughout our stay. The location is excellent - super close to the bus stop (allowing us to easily go to the national park and to Espoo for groceries) and only a few minutes' walk from a nature reserve. This was a wonderfully calming stay. We would love to come back in the winter. Merci, Rachel! :-)
