Self Catering Accommodation in Caurel

A beautiful place with everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and there was a large living area with kitchen. Good communication from the host and easy self-check in. It felt a safe place to park our two motorcycles. A lovely walk down to the village and plenty of walking paths close by. We walked to the lake and back. Very beautiful through the forest track past the dam.

It’s rural location, comfortable and solidly built. Well thought out for adults and young children or infants. Private and peaceful except for occasional passing farm traffic. Hosts very trusting.

I liked the location. On a quite road. House was spotless, shower was great, beds were comfortable. Home away from home. Great to have English speaking channels on the TV. Jean and Alan are lovely people and very helpful.

The cottage is nicely furnished and fully equipped. The bed is very comfortable and the air con was very welcome in the heat. The location is very peaceful and relaxing and we liked being able to park the car next to the house. Wifi worked well. Communication with the hosts was very easy and responsive, especially when we couldn’t get the tv to work. Nothing wrong with the tv…we’re old and need tech things to be simple.

Having stayed in Caurel for the last 15 summers, we’ve rented a lot of properties around the lake and this lovely house was one of the best! It’s in a great location, plenty of room for our family and parking for our boat, you can walk from the house to the beach and it also takes 5 minutes to drive. The house itself has been lovingly refurbished by Dominique and Marc who were lovely and helpful, the house was spotlessly clean and very well equipped, I usually have to bring a lot of additional things with me but this time I didn’t need to! There’s excellent WiFi and a dishwasher, two non-negotiables! The sauna was a big hit and the table football was great fun. Our doggy loved the garden too, so everyone was happy!

Fabulous location a few moments from the lake, very quiet and peaceful.

The bed was very comfortable. Good tv. Nice little garden. Very peaceful. Constant hot water.

Such a pretty place, so peaceful. The owners had provided all the items we needed
