Self Catering Accommodation in Back

The house was lovely and comfortable, had everything we needed as a family of 5. At the end of our stay, we were stranded due to weather and ferry cancellations and thankfully the host could let us stay longer, which was a Godsend!

A stylish and immaculately clean home away from home.

Very clean, so many lovely extra touches like smoked salmon, fresh local eggs and homemade cake- huge selection of teas. We were able to take our dog and the garden was fabulous- safe and enclosed. Everything you could need in a kitchen , super bed and proper bed linen . Good location and sea view.

The cottage was perfect, the hosts Catherine & Ian have gone above and beyond with all the amenities/extras they have provided within the cottage. Ian met us at the cottage on arrival and was most welcoming and gave us some history on the cottage which was lovely. The welcome pack is the most thoughtful and generous I have seen. Although we had no issues on our stay you could tell that if you did the hosts would do everything they could to help you. I would highly recommend staying in Fisherman’s cottage.

Beautiful cottage, everything we needed, really well equipped, super clean , comfy beds and sofa, and good quality bedding/towels etc. supplied with a highchair and cot for the baby. Stunning view of the beach/sea. Lovely and helpful host. Couldn’t have been better

What a lovely place! Spotlessly clean and very well situated. Superbly equipped with everything we needed and more! Milk, tea, coffee, biscuits, marmalade and jam in the fridge. Washing up liquid, shower gel, shampoo, fresh towels......the lot! Linen and towels beautifully fresh. Handy and good sized fridge freezer we thought too, and the air fryer and hob - perfect! Heating was effective and the TV, streaming and Internet were faultless! I'd definitely recommend to anyone. The surrounding garden being fenced so that we could let the dogs out was perfect. I'd.most definitely recommend.

The house was beautiful and clean and a perfect size for our family of 5. It’s in a perfect location, a short drive from Stornaway so close to shops if needed. Surrounding area is beautiful and so peaceful and just a short walk down to the beach.

This house had everything that you would need for a self catering holiday. It was spotless, and a level of home luxury that you didn’t know you needed. It was also a wonderful surprise to wake up to see gorgeous little lambs in the surrounding Croft. There were 6 of the family there & there was plenty of space.

The Wee Gem lives up to its name. The bungalow is clean, cosy and comfortable and has everything you need for your stay. Situated in a quiet cul-de sac in a small village just outside Stornoway it provides the ideal location for exploring this wonderful island. I never met the owners but communication was excellent. I was given clear directions on how to find the property and how to access it. Good internet access and lots of useful information provided in the guest folders. I made good use of the tourist map during my stay. Also pet friendly so I was able to bring my dog with me too. Would definitely recommend.

This was our 2nd stay here and we just love it. The location is great and the house itself is just lovely. Louise leaves lovely little touches such as bread, rolls, milk, butter and eggs as well as all staples and cleaning supplies. Nothing is too much trouble and communication is great. We really love it here x

Isla's cottage was a comfortable base from which to explore the island. It was clean and well equipped. Quiet location, with a walk along coastal path close by

So handy for Stornoway/the ferry and lovely the owners are across the road if needed.

Straight forward, brilliant Independent Tiny house

Lovely accommodation with a lovely host. She really went above and beyond. Can not fault the accommodation, it litrally had everything there that we could need. It was spotlessly clean and well equipped.

Everything was perfect. Laundry facilities on site were a huge help. The location is not far from town, and it was so quite and peaceful . Wish we had a longer stay!!

The photos of the property look great and still don't do it justice. It was a great house and the owners even left out a basket of snacks which was a great touch. highly recommend.
