Everything. Lovely place to stay and extremely well priced. Linda who runs it was really helpful and helped us out with drying out clothes. This place is a hidden gem in the country side

It was spacious and clean, everything we needed was there

We really enjoyed our stay in the lodge. It all started with the positive shock when we saw the view from the living room and both decks ( the lawn full of sheep). So tranquil!!!! The host also offered to go to the pond to take a boat and feed the fish, which was an amazing experience for my 5year old. We also really enjoyed Sandymouth beach which is 30 min by car from the lodge.

We had a fantastic stay in the Lion and Giraffe safari tents. As a large group, we booked both tents and it was amazing to have the whole field and meadow to ourselves—perfect for our children and dogs to run and play freely. The tents were beautifully set up and had everything we needed. There were thoughtful touches like games and colouring activities for the children, as well as plenty of blankets to keep everyone cozy. We also really appreciated how dog-friendly it was, with extras such as dog balls, poo bags, towels, and even beds and a crate available on request. There were plenty of logs provided for our first night around the fire, which made the experience even more special. Overall, we had such an amazing stay and will definitely be booking again next year

Everything was perfect! So idyllic, and the photos just don't do this place justice. Only a short walk to the nearest pub (the food and cocktails were delicious!), and then back to the warm, cosiness of this beautiful hideaway! We were even greeted by a gorgeous feline on the grounds of the property, who met us from our car!

Excellent location. We were totally amazed by the view from the accommodation! We were greeted with a smile and found everything in the lodge that we needed. I particularly commented on the rechargeable torch that was plugged into a socket in the main bedroom- I need to buy one for my own house! Everything was totally clean and tidy, and we would definitely book again. Everything, and more was available in the kitchen, and the water was always hot and available. 10 / 10 Thank you for a lovely stay - we really didn’t want to leave!
