Self Catering Accommodation in Fratíon

As returning visitors to Giorgos & Maria, we were delighted to be back. A quick trip at the end of last season had us staying elsewhere and ‘elsewhere’ is not as good! On this visit we chose one of the first-floor apartments - very similar to those on the ground floor, but with an elevated view and a slightly more private balcony. As always, the hospitality from our hosts made us feel welcome right from the start; friendly, full of advice and local knowledge and always happy to help in any way they can. Equally, if you just want to be left to your own devices, they sense this and you’ll hardly know they’re around… apart for the immaculately serviced rooms and the smells coming from Maria’s kitchen. Speaking of Maria’s kitchen: if you’re lucky enough to be invited to dine on their homemade food, usually served on the patio, think hard before turning it down. Maria is famous for her moussaka, fish and beef stifado. When we were there, an evening meal with salads, breads, a main course, beers and after-dinner fruit & raki (lots) was nicer, and cheaper, than many of the surrounding restaurants. Overall, our stay with Giorgos & Maria was exactly what we needed, the perfect blend of relaxation and exploration, and we can't wait to return. Highly recommended - thank you both.

Location is perfect! Direct access to the beach! Pool also very quiet! The manager of the hotel Ms Athina Antonopoulou is very professional and kind! She welcomed us very warmly

Lovely location in quaint village, quiet and peaceful with a short walk to the town. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. It was the perfect stay for our honeymoon

Number one it is always the people who make the difference. A very nice family is running this place . The one who is the actuel boss is Stelios. Because he is the one who handles this place and speaks very good English. The rooms are incredible clean and have a nice balcony. It was cleaned every day which is not happening in other places. Then there is a pool with sunbeds and trees for shade. You can order drinks at very reasonable prices. Kitchen was good enough to prepare simple things. The location is good. 100 meters there is a big supermarket . To the center it is 10 minutes walk. Would we stay here again ? Yes!!!!

All around great location, great accommodation, and access to beach 300 meters, great swimming and snorkeling. There is a "Beach House Bar" with deck chairs available as well. All you ever wanted from a beach holiday, and ease of access.. Soooo good and Eleni an excellent host.

Place that feels as home, would love to come back! The appartment is almost on the beach. The coffee house below the appartment is super. Very friendly hosts.

The location was very central and convenient. A very comfortable and we'll equipped apartment. The views were amazing and Erofili and her husband were so helpful and hospitable. We had a wonderful stay, thank you.

The view is amazing! The private pool is even better. The best holiday spot for sure! The appartement has every thing you need. Just know the appartement is a bit difficult to reach due to small roads but if you are a good driver its not a hassle.

We liked the rural location combined with high quality accommodation. We enjoyed the views, the birds and the proximity to a shop and bakery plus a delightful authentic Greek town only two miles away. The host was warm and generous, calling in with local specialities. The villa was immaculate, including the outside space.

Amazing views from this villa that you never want to leave. Beautiful Villa that is very clean and has modern decor. Accessing the villa was very easy. We hired small cars before we arrived in Crete and picked up from the airport upon arrival. To stay at this villa, a car is a must.

Well equipped, detached property. Everything you could need for your stay. Somewhat isolated - you'll need a car/bike - but that's what makes the property so special. The view of the stars at night is amazing! Great host.

The villa is situated in the hills and, apart from the villa next door, is remote from any other properties so is wonderfully quiet and secluded. The arrangement of the two villas means that you never feel overlooked or that you are overlooking your neighbours. Lovely decor inside, perfect eating spots outside and a wonderful private pool.

The Villa is perfectly located in the middle of the Crete mountains towards the East. About 20 or so minutes to both sea side, North and South. Especially to the South where endless beaches amaze you and you can really find authentic Taverns with Cretan food for good money value. The Villa is set in perfect environment, where you wake up every morning with stunning views of the Crete Mountain landscape, forest and fields and are you surrounded by Olive Trees 360° around the Villa. The calmness and breeze during the whole day is amazing. The Villa itself is extra clean, done in a fashionable cozy manner in wood, with spacious high ceiling living room looking to the pool, 5 double rooms, with the fine designed marble endless pool outside, a big table for 10 with grill and everything that a relaxing Villa should have. It has everything and more that a good stay needs: from quality dishes, washing machine, dish washer, oven, microwave, etc., a place in - 1 floor to relax, sport or just drink with friends.  The owners were supper friendly, forthcoming and welcoming We definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for good value for money, calmness and is into exploring Crete.

Neromai Residence is a true gem. The villa offers an exceptional sense of peace, comfort and privacy – exactly what we needed. It’s beautifully designed and thoughtfully furnished, with every detail carefully considered. Stylish yet warm, modern yet connected to nature. We used it as a base for exploring the whole island of Crete, and it couldn’t have been more ideal. Quiet mornings, starry nights, and easy access to all directions made every day a pleasure. A special thank-you to our host, who was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. And we’ll never forget the amazing homemade welcome treats prepared by his lovely mother – an unforgettable touch of Cretan hospitality. This is so much more than just a place to stay – it’s a space where you feel at home from the very first moment. We would come back in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone looking for something truly special.

The staff were absolutely wonderful. Everything in the house was spacious for our family of 12. There were 6 adults and 6 kids from ages 1-13. It was well set out with lots of different areas for us to relax. All the towels, linen, kitchen equipment was plentiful. The pool was fun and the garden was lovely

Best stay in creta. If you have car it’s a most to take out for couples of days.
