Self Catering Accommodation in Marathítis

It's more than cosy. Excellent. Never another one in Heraklion. Thanks a lot

Great apartment, very well equipped. Felt really comfortable during our stay.

The support given by the reception, Mr. Petrus, who helped a lot to solve a critical situation relation with my car hiring. Additionally he also gave us precious hints for our staying in on Crete. Much appreciated.

We selected a villa, and it was really huge, but we loved every moment! Thank you for the fantastic experience. 🤍

What a gem! We stayed at Eliathos for 10 days, and it was the perfect base for us to explore the local surroundings and the charming town of Archanes, as well as easily accessible day trips to Heraklion, Knossos, Chania, Diktaion Cave and Agia Pelagia. The stunning surroundings and peaceful atmosphere of this residence provided a lovely place for us to spend days by the pool in between the longer day trips. The facilities were excellent, with each residence fully equipped with everything we needed. The staff were extremely helpful (especially Nikos, who gave us lots of helpful tips and suggestions) and made it feel like a home from home. Would highly recommend Eliathos for short or long stays in Crete.

breakfast was very good with good variety

You can get to the apartments from airport very easily with line number 6 (1,20 eur per ticket) or a taxi is about 25 euros. The apartment is right at the beach where you can use the pool and sunloungers at the beach. Apartment had a small kitchen with a fridge and light cooking. Beds nice and clean, daily housekeeping and balcony was a big plus! Restaurants and shops near by and a bus stop right in front of the aparments to get to the city. Hosts are very lovely and happy people. Nice drinks and food portions are very generous at the Franks burger bar! We enjoyed ourselves very much!

Ultra modern villa, in great location, villa had everything we needed. perfect for a chilled holiday

The house is great and big has everything. Great quiet location. The pool seemed small at first but it’s actually really good.

The property is in a very quiet place, surrounded by olive trees, flowers and all natures. The private swimming pool gave so much fun to all families. The house is huge providing enough space for all kinds of activities.

Super nice apartment, comfortable, clean and the location was perfect. We could park our car inside. We spent a couple of days here to visit Heraklion, before we moved to another destination and I would definitely recommend it. Sofia, the host, was very kind and gave us good advice about moving around town.

The owner knew that we were supposed to come late do that no shops will be open so she prepared some toasts and fruit for us and left them in the fridge. She asked every day if we need anything. I felt like home and really recommend it to everyone

Absolutely fabulos roof terrace, comfy house, 3 min walks from Knossos Palace. There is a parking place opposite the property.

Fully renovated duplex apartment with all the necessary amenities, just a 5min drive from the Knossos Palace. Super clean and with a comfy bed and private parking.

An absolutely incredible stay! The location was perfect, and the property itself was the most stunning we’ve ever seen. Our two hosts were exceptional—helpful, friendly, and genuinely welcoming—making our experience truly unforgettable. Highly recommend!

Wonderful villa, with great facilities and exceptional views. The host was lovely, the fridge was generously stocked on arrival which meant we could enjoy the villa straight away. The supermarket is a relatively short walk down the road. Even quicker in a car. The villa itself is gorgeous, finished beautifully and was a real home from home. We’ll definitely be coming back.

Nice pool big yard and beautiful sunsets. Hosts are wonderful.

Great villa. We had a fantastic time

The property is beautiful but knowing in advance how remote it was would have been helpful. Quite a long walk to a cafe / market to get supplies.

In the hills south of Heraklion, not far from Knossos, with view on the city and the sea, in quiet olive trees. Refreshing wind, ecceptional big and happy appartment above the owner's one, a sweet and heartfull lady Irène, and very attentive and helpfull neighbours in the next villa. We were gifted with olive oil, delicious local specialities, etc... we couldn't even dream better, a real paradise, thank you my dear friends. We stayed here from 17th of June to 1st of July.

Everything we needed. We only stayed one night, but we think it would be suitable for a longer stay. The kitchen is fully equipped, lots of outdoor space, the bed is comfortable.

Outstanding! The location was amazing, peaceful, and relaxing. If you are looking for a piece of paradise, then this is it. Perfectly located on the edge of a village but close enough to shops, beaches and town. You will need a car and George kindly arranged one forus that was excellent value. The home was furnished with EVERYTHING you could wish for, and we felt immediately at home here with all the thoughtful touches. The welcome snacks and drinks were a lovely. The garden and grounds are beautifully kept as is the pool, and there are so many places to relax either in the sun or shade. The views are INCREDIBLE and certainly have the wow factor. In addition to all of this, the owners are friendly, lovely people, always there if you need them with any questions. If you plan on heading Malia, way be sure to try their restaurant Kreta Taverna on the Stalis/Malia road, which serves perfectly made local dishes,
