Self Catering Accommodation in Mathía

A beautiful hotel surrounded by olive groves and overlooking the bay. We felt at home there, especially because staff was welcoming and helpful, yet not intrusive. The pool was super-clean and mostly empty, so we felt like we own the place :) Rooms were clean (sheets and towels changed every other day), there’s everything you need to prepare some simple meals, which we did. Drinks and ice cream at the pool bar were awesome (shoutout to the girls preparing the best freddo cappuccino ever!)

Beautiful new tiny houses with all amenities! Washing machine, fully equipped kitchen, outdoor shower, a fireplace! The details on the towels and sheets make you feel you are at a luxury hotel. All in all a wonderful experience and good value for money. Mr. Panayiotis came by to check on us as well!

I had a fantastic stay at the house. The location is ideal—peaceful yet just a short walk to the beach, offering the perfect balance of relaxation and convenience. The hotel was impeccably clean, with every detail clearly well-cared for. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a beachside retreat!

Lovely apartment in a peaceful area. Loft space is perfect for children to sleep in leaving the balcony area easily accessible for adults in the evening. Short drive to local restaurants, supermarkets, and beaches. Hosts communicated with us throughout.

The two bedroom house in Peters Village for us was everything we have expected for our holidays. It had everything you need for amazing stay, its cozy spacy and the best part is that a local village beach is only 70 meters from the house and in September is mostly empty so you have it for yourself. Peter and Kaliopi are the most amazing hosts, aproachable, communicative yet you are totally independent throughot of your stay. We are definitely coming back!

We had a wonderful time! The hosts were extremely kind and helpful, such genuine hospitality is rare. We've been to Greece several times, but this was by far the best experience! The accommodation isn't a flashy, newly renovated place, but that's exactly what we liked about it – it's honest, simple, and had everything we needed for a perfect holiday. Sometimes, less is more, and that truly applied here. We really hope to come back again, and we'd like to say a big thank you for everything!

A very cozy house that has been renovated. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. Friendly and helpful hosts who are always available. A stunning view of the bay and Kalamata from the open veranda on the second floor.

Beautiful place. Very nice manager

The property was very clean and comfortable. Each room has air conditioners, there is a washing machine which is very useful if you plan to stay longer. There is a road next to the house but it did not bother us. Having the sea at your door was amazing, it is stoney so it’s not your typical beach but we loved it. The sea gets choppy in the afternoon but morning and evening swims were divine. The house has everything you might need. There is a bathroom with a shower and another small one with a toilet and a sink. There is also an outdoor shower which is a big bonus. You have two sitting areas and a decking area at the end of the garden. The town is a very short drive away, you can walk there but the road is reasonably busy and there are no pavements along the way. In the town you have a few tavernas and cafes, a bakery, couple of supermarkets, a butcher, fresh fish is sold too. The owner of the property is very responsive and very helpful. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

Gedigio is a small house with a big privat garden. The position is ideal, everything is near (beach, shops, tavernas) and at the same time you are in a quiet neighborhood. Here you can feel why Greece is such a relaxed and attractive place.

The owners are really nice, waited for us when we arrived late in the night ( sorry about that). right on the beach, next to some taverns and i think the city center. At night on the beach we found a lot of baby turtles which was a blast for our kids.

The apartment is very clean, comfortable, modern, and stylish. It is also located in a quiet part of town. We stayed for 2 weeks, and after every 3 nights, the apartment was cleaned thoroughly.
