Self Catering Accommodation in Varos

Very nice location and very hospitable owner. Everything was simple but functional.

Hotel is situated on a hilltop in Varos village and has views of the surrounding area. It is also close to Kotsinas beach. But you do need a car to get around. It would be difficult to get to the hotel without one. We enjoyed our stay here very much. The staff are very nice friendly people. We had many conversations with them and they all made us feel at home. It was very pleasant place to stay

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Villa Lagosta, again, just a week ago and cannot recommend it highly enough. The location is unbeatable — right on a beautiful sandy beach, quiet, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing. Waking up and stepping straight out onto the shore each morning was magical. The apartment itself is spacious, spotless, and very well equipped, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. A special mention must go to Giorgos, the host, who is incredibly welcoming, attentive, and helpful throughout our stay. His hospitality and local tips really made us feel at home and gave us an authentic Lemnos experience. Watch out for the fresh figs, grapes and tomatoes Giorgos so lovingly offers you from the garden. If you are looking for the perfect blend of comfort, tranquility, and true Lemnos atmosphere, Villa Lagosta is the place to stay. We left with wonderful memories. We have been coming here for more than 12 years and we will be back again next year.

Such a gorgeous place, in the middle of a village that looks like a signature Greek painting. Upon arrival we were given the run down of the apartment. Great size living area and a well equipped kitchen to cook, clean and eat within. Modernised and clean. A wonderful and peaceful escape. A car is a must, which we didn't have. Local mini market stocks the basics. The locals helped us to organise a taxi to the local beach which was majestic and we walked back which was approximately 40 mins. Lovely host too. We will definitely stay again only include a car next time.

Mary and Nikos were extremely generous hosts. Their newly renovated home was very spacious and clean. They really made it feel like a home away from home. We have recommended Mary's Home to all of our family and friends who will travel to Atsiki. Our family feel very blessed to have met Mary and Nikos who designed a beautifully appointed home in the exact village where we planned to base ourselves on the island.

The hosts were amaising - always responsive very fast and came to fix every little thing. Very warm and pleasant people!

I have travelled a lot but for the first time I meet people like these hosts. So hospitable and polite! The house is big, clean and you have everything you need.
