The cottages are beautifully isolated - perfect for Aurora hunting. The hot tub was lovely. The beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of room to sit around the dining table. The owner was helpful on arrival. I just wish we had time to pop up to the hotel to use the bar. Parking right next to the cottage was useful. The nearest supermarket and food hall were at the end of the road so easily accessible (by car). We loved Nupar Cottages and would definitely stay again!

We loved our stay! The place was perfect with everything we could need. The view was lovely, had Icelandic horses nearby, well supplied kitchen, adjustable beds, a clothes washing machine (1,000 ISK/load), and excellent star gazing. I highly recommend and will be coming back during my next stay in Iceland!

This place really exceeded our expectations. It is listed as a "hostel" but it is one of a kind. It was like staying in a proper hotel, as we chose the "rent apartment" option.

The room and facilities were more than I expected. This is the best value we spent for entire Iceland trip. The host was there to help us get into the room because the lock box is hard to open. There are stove, oven and kitchen supplies provided.
