Great location, walking distance to the train station, grocery stores, and bakeries. The views from the windows of the apartment were amazing as well. Really would have liked to stay longer!

It looks great. It has that old charm and it is old but clean. The host was great and came right away even though I book last minute.

The owner met us (after some confusing messages with check in instructions) at the property and explained all the house rules, including the pool/whirlpool/sauna operations. Everything was very easy to follow. The living/dining quarters + bathrooms easily accommodated our group of 6 adults and 6 kids. There was plenty of space for all of us to lounge, read, play in the pool or just take a nap on the couch without being disturbed or bothered by others. All rooms were sparking clean and we enjoyed the mixture of art/decor that made this house feel like a home. We loved the view from the back covered porch overlooking the valley below.

They are very proud of their listing and wanted to ensure I enjoyed every moment of my trip without hassle. The biggest concern was Wi-Fi, and it worked perfectly in the house with two people working simultaneously. The idyllic Italian hamlet of Ponte nelle Alpi is nestled in a valley beneath the distinctive peaks of the Dolomite range. Only an hour north of Venice via a coach that leaves directly from Marco Polo airport, then a 10-minute train ride and you are there. The very modern, spacious, and well-appointed 2 bedroom loft is only a 5-minute walk from the train station. From it, everything a person needs is within a 5-minute walk in the small town: a well-appointed supermarket, pizza restaurants, bars, banks, a Tuesday morning market, coffee shops, and bakeries. Access to the Dolomites area is immediate and the town provides a super convenient base from which to explore them if a person wanted to arrive and have a car and do more day tripping. The picturesque town of Belluno is only an 8-minute train ride away, as are several other sightseeing spots. But the unexpected highlight is without a doubt the spectacular view through the wide glass doors of the accommodation’s main bedroom that looks straight up the impressive valley that leads to Cortina d’Ampezzo, an hour away.
