If you have any interest at all in Touhou this is a wonderful opportunity to stay in a place where a true fan has truly applied their craft! I was amazed at what I found at every turn, truly full of character! It is also just a clean and nice place to stay, easy and accommodating.

Even before I arrived at the apartment, the people of Ise were warm, welcoming and offered to help me get to my accommodation. The apartment was very clean and felt like home. The owner was responsive and was very receptive if I had any questions. It's also tucked away from traffic and noise so it's very quiet, especially at night. On a cooler night, if you open the bedroom window you can here the water flowing past and crickets chirping peacefully.  Bathroom amenities are provided and it has a little kitchen where you can prepare your own food. There's a laundry machine and many hangers and clips you can use to hang clothes to dry out on the balcony.  It's a 20 minute walk from Ise Grand Shrine. 8 minute walk to Family Mart Convenience Store

The house was new, well fitted out, multiple heat pumps and aircon units, and worked really, really well. Our hosts were beyond amazing, soooo hospitable and generous! They were great ferries and tour guides as well as hosts, and their kindness was boundless.

First of all, I would like to thank the host who met us at check in who was incredibly friendly and attentive. She helped us to find a safe place to store our road bicycles and was very quick at communicating leading up to and throughout our stay, despite us booking very last minute. The property was clean and spacious and located in fantastic proximity to the inner shrine. We had a great stay.
