Self Catering Accommodation in Mishima

Great location close to the station. Showers were clean and although they were shared, they afforded a decent amount of privacy. The room was comfortable even with our large luggage. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and we even extended our stay an extra night.

The property was clean, the location was a 15 minute walk from the train station and the location was wonderful

Location is great, right beside Mishima station. Hotel was very nice and staff was excellent.

Very clean. Equipped with washing machine, detergent and drying machine. Though the host did not provide a parking slot, a public slot is located nearly. The host did prepared some change for that machine. I like the Nissin mall nearby.

The facilities were good, the establishment was very clean and well signposted. The staff were the highlight! They were incredibly respectful, kind and personable. The whole establishment has a wonderfully welcoming atmosphere. The staff were happy to answer any and all of my questions or just have a chat. They foster an environment that encourages connection with everyone there, including other guests. I highly recommend this hostel, not just for value but for the wonderful people you will meet there. Perfect for solo travelers or anyone that likes to make friends anywhere they go.

Good facility with lots of supplement.

This property seems to have been renovated mainly to look good in photos rather than to provide real comfort. Unfortunately, we booked it for five nights, but it’s really only suitable for an overnight stay. The two single beds were extremely uncomfortable — poor-quality bedding, no mattress protectors, very thin sheets, and flat pillows. There were no towel rails in the bathroom, no bath mat, and the vacuum cleaner was completely full of rubbish, so we couldn’t use it to clean the floor. Although the property can sleep up to four people (two single beds and one double), the kitchen was barely equipped — only two plates, three glasses, and a few cups. plates were stored on the floor. There’s no Wi-Fi, no washing machine, and no TV — which might be fine for a short stay, but not for a longer visit. The hosts were also the least welcoming of all our stays in Japan. We arrived in the afternoon and were told we couldn’t leave our luggage inside before check-in, only outside the property. Even our taxi driver and a kind lady from across the street were concerned. Later that day, the same neighbor brought us a small welcome gift, apologizing for the inhospitable experience. When we left, the cleaner was sitting outside at 9:30 a.m., making sure we were out by 10 a.m., which felt uncomfortable and unfriendly. The host messages were full of red exclamation marks and Xs — unnecessarily harsh compared to every other property we’ve stayed at.

Owner was very responsive and accommodating and instructions to pick up keys were clear. Will stay there again if in that area.

Modern home ,Clean and comfy stay ,convenience to Hakone attractions place. Much better than average accommodation in Japan. Highly recommend for family.

Good sized living area and quiet and peaceful forest setting.

This place is a real gem. Clean, comfortable, great view, great facilities, parking in front of the house. We had a great time using the hot plate to make Teppanyaki and having breakfast on the terrace. There was a coffee grinder and beans to make fresh drip coffee.

We were 4 persons, there was enough space for all of us. The house was clean and easy to access. Since it’s winter, it’s cold inside the house but there are a lot of blankets and AC to make up for it. There is a big parking area that is free. The bathroom has a small onsen, so it smells a bit like sulfur inside the house. We loved this accommodation.
