Self Catering Accommodation in Oshima

Good location. Good value for the price. Large rooms.

The host is very friendly. The traditional house was beautiful. We could also use the bikes and it was really fantastic cycling around. We went to an outdoor hot spring (as recommend by the host) and it was the best hot spring experience. Breakfast was tasty. And thanks for bringing us to the bus station the next morning. Our stay of 1 night was too short... hope to visit again!

A very cosy, traditional Japanese-style house, a stone's throw from both the beach and the centre of Oshima. Wonderfully kind and understanding hosts, who accommodated a last-minute change in travel plans - our ferry couldn't make it over from Tokyo initially due to weather conditions. Next time we are in Oshima, we will be sure to stay here again!

We enjoyed a lot staying at your place. We found it beautiful and authentic and spent a very happy stay with our granddaughter. For our French Japanese family it was quite an experience. Owner is very respectful and always helping. The house has been carefully designed and arranged with many amenities. A lot of instructions were in English, which was extremely helpful. We were really impressed by this. In general, property and surrounding are peaceful, which is great. Thanks a lot!!

Ideal place to get your own impression what a Japanese house may look like. Of course it is not 100% the way how it was in previous century and a warm toilet seat adds positive impression anyway, but we are awfully happy that were able to live here! We had comfortable sleeping places, pillows around table and enjoyed a possibility to cook food using a gas stove. The water was very hot and the water pressure was good which is better than we expected.
