Self Catering Accommodation in Staphorst

Everything beautiful comfortable property!

Hamingen is a little outpost from the bigger village called Staphorst, located in the middle of the pure nature, a mixture of typical Dutch landscape of fields and kanals. The town with all amenities, Meppel, is just 3 km away. Ideally to have a car - the property has a private free parking just at the door. Internet is around 25-30 MBs, enough for all needs, there is no TV inside, which we found as an advantage, to enjoy tranquility of the place. There is no washing machine, bear in mind. Haneke and Rik, the host couple, living next door, are very friendly and nice, eager to help with anything. Pity we didn't have time for a drink - definitely a point to do for the next visit ) The heating, comfort, kitchen and overall ambiance is excellent, too. The beds are comfy. The one in "the little house" is ideal for kids. The sleep is one of the best we ever had - already a thing worth returning one day in the future.

The accommodation is very cozy, the kitchen was equipped with everything you needed. The owners were very friendly. Good location: near highway and touristic places.

The room had everything we could need and was very clean and comforting. The host was very friendly and helpful, showing us around. It was nice to have the terrace to sit on such a nice evening!

Great beds and very clean. Particularly appreciated the net screens on the window and door. Lovely to sit and watch the alpacas.

The cleanliness and cozyness of the place. Also view and the neighborhood is really nice. The owner is super friendly and helpful

A great stay if you like the quiet. The nearby forest is lovely and the house is big enough to relax, either indoors or outdoors.

Peaceful and private location, with clear signage outside the property making it easy to find. The room is spacious and well-equipped, with a reliable air conditioning and comfortable bed. The mini oven is convenient for warming up meals, though an oven-safe dish would be a useful addition to the kitchenware. Just a short drive from Meppel, we highly recommend this property.

Wonderful stay. Beautifully appointed and lovely surrounds. Hosts were also lovely. Would recommend.

A carefully thought out stylish studio containing everything we needed for a 3 night stay. Well equipped kitchenette with mini fridge, kettle, coffee machine as mentioned but also a little oven and egg cooker to make freshly baked bread and boiled eggs for breakfast! Breakfast was generously portioned and al left in the fridge ready for us to have as we wanted in the morning. Very large and comfortable bed and great shower. Lots of places to go for long walks nearby and if you like wine make sure you email the owners in advance to book in for a wine tasting while you're there!

We had a wonderful stay at this lovingly furnished holiday home. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome and completely at ease. The house is beautifully equipped – everything has been thoughtfully provided. The area is peaceful and rural, yet very well connected with the highway close by, making it easy to reach. Supermarkets and shops are just a few minutes away. During our stay, it rained quite a bit, typical Dutch weather 😊 but that didn’t bother us at all. We made ourselves cozy indoors, enjoying the lovely games available in the house and spending relaxing family evenings with our children. A big thank-you to the warm and caring host, we felt very well looked after and knew we could reach out at any time if needed. A place to feel at home and unwind,we would love to come back!

Excellent location, situated in the centre. Close to shops, walking distance to train station and close by beautiful park. Nice surprise on arrival the bottle of wine 😊
