A unique hideaway. Absolutely beautiful chalet, perfectly designed and presented. Everything you need, and more, beautifully presented. The location is just delightful. So private and green. The river offered unforgettable opportunity to wild swim. Beautiful walks. The breakfast hamper was a feast. Absolute treat, everything you’d want and more. The fresh fruit tasted amazing, bread, croissant cheese and ham fuelled us perfectly for our cycling tour. As if this wasn’t perfect enough the host went above and beyond to share the tourist highlights the area has to offer. I’m reluctant to write such a review as I fear when I book to stay again it will be fully booked!

We were greeted by the lady of the house with a glass of wine and cheese and nibbles. A geat welcoming feature. The house is huge and is beautifully furnished with everything that you would expect in a family mansion (paintings, memorabilia, period furniture, etc). The bedroom suite was again elegant. Breakfast was set in a dining room with excellent antiques.

It's very rare that I rate 10/10, but this place was a gem! Beautiful location, a pool, spacious and nice and well equipped house. Good breakfast. Comfortable beds. Friendly and helpful staff. We were upgraded from a double to two singles at no extra cost, which was a very nice bonus!

The house is a beautiful renovation by the owner (a contractor). The owner Miguel, was amazing. He dropped by to check in and we had a wonderful talk. The facilities are great (kitchen, BBQ, pool, outside and inside eating area). The house is very comfortable with 3 roomy bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. This place is great for a family or a few couples. You can easily park two cars. You are a quick 15 min drive from Amarante (beautiful) and 40 minutes to Guimaraes (very nice, lots of tourists). You will have to drive to get groceries as there isn't much close you are in a completely in a residential area.

The house is exactly as the add and is very nicely maintained. Everything was very new and clean and you can see the attention to detail. Most things in the house have good quality, the views are even better than the pictures and the hosts are very nice.
