Comfortable house with everything needed for a stay. Very good connections to Velas or to main activities of the island. The hosts very friendly and nice people.

Private patio area in your room where you can sit and relax, overlooking an amazing view of the ocean & Pico. The place is kept absolutely spotless, and the kitchen is stocked with everything you need. I had a very comfortable stay here. The host is also lovely and she took the time to give me brochures and explain most things I would need to know during my few nights stay.

Amazing location, the views were incredible. so peaceful. The cabin was simple but perfect, you can just about see both sunrise and sunset over Pico. Bed was very comfortable and it was great having a washing machine. The host even brought a basket of bread, butter, coffee, etc on the first day. It's worth bringing some supplies if you want to stay in, but there's a good mini mart in walking distance if you need things.

Great, climatic place with absolutely great service and staff. For us, it was better than expected. Also good location as a starting point for visiting rest of the island. I'd definitely rent again if/when visiting Sao Jorge again. PS. Someone mentioned it's too dark, but I it has been fixed when we were there with additional little lamps along the way.

Nice spacious one bedroom apartment directly at the coast. The pictures are true, you can see Pico from the porch-in good weather 😉 And hear the waves crashing… Kitchen is equipped with the necessary basics for a vacation. The apartment and the bathroom were clean. Easy parking at the harbor or across the street. Good location to explore the island, close to the famous hikes, the airport and the major “cities” Velas and Calheta. communication with Rita was prompt and very helpful, she shared some nice tips about the island and local festivals. Even if it is a small house it has all you need to have a comfortable stay. Also the view is very good

I was blown away by the incredible location and breathtaking scenery. The property is stunning, surrounded by beautifully maintained gardens, and the thoughtful welcome basket was a lovely touch. The house itself boasts top-notch finishes—you can really see the care the hosts put into every detail. It's equipped with all the amenities you could possibly need, making it a true home away from home. They were always available, offering great suggestions for places to visit and quick answers to any questions we had. An amazing spot I’d love to return to—highly recommend!

The owner is an amazing host but most of all an amazing person. Very welcoming and providing everything we could need to have the best time at this amazing place. The house is just perfect with an incredible detailed cleaning. Also the garden with the amazing Pico view where we could have great times taking breakfast and dinner. Thank you very much for everything and we hope to come back very soon.
