It was more beautiful than pictures we felt completely at home … a local swimming area short walk away and most welcoming friendly host ! And amazing views to Faial and mountain pico every day !!!! Amongst the vineyards!!

If you hapoen to arrive to a remote island as Pico here is #1 essential for you: Ana, the actual manager of this property, a stranger-sister whom you did not know you have, who just gets you. Apart from a very nice high end property, Ana took care of me, and my expectations from this vacation. She know everything in the Island by heart. She is generous, kind and smiley! I stayed extra 6 nights because of her welcoming approach!

The house is great and the host Joao is really nice and helpful. He gave us nice recommandations and made our stay better than we expected. The location is perfect, the view is amazing !

As Casas da Vinha really deserves a 10! The houses are spacious and very confortable with everything you can need. The private terrace was great, and the shared swimming pool, barbecue area and solarium are perfect as well with a very nice view which is a nice plus. The surrounding also are lovely. Congratulations to the owners!

Extremely helpful host who has managed to convert a traditional house into a very comfortable holiday home with all modern conveniences. Quiet countryside and but close enough to centre of town and ferry.

We enjoyed our stay here very much. When we were here, we had stormy weather. Especially from the terras you had a spectacular view on the crashing waves. We liked the quirkiness of this place, enjoyed the warmth of the airconditioning and and we experienced the dishwasher as pure luxury. Roger is a great host.

Good position to explore the island, staff was helpful and replied quickly when contacted. The house had everything we needed, and a nice view on Fajal as well.

What a unique and beautiful place with the most stunning views. Imagine a whole small harbour with a 2351m high volcano (Mt. Pico) in the back and one of the most beautiful islands of the Azores (Faial) in front of you. When I arrived, I was upgraded to the bigger appartment Casa do Cais due to maintenance work in the smaller Convés. The apartment is very spacious and clean, the equipment and furniture basic but very beautiful. At night, you just hear the waves. The highlight is definitely the "terrace". A few steps and you can safely swim in the clearest water. From time to time, some fishermen will come and let their small boats into the water, or a dog might visit you and ejoy the sunset together with you. The location is just a few minutes by car from Madalena, nice restaurants aren't far and the unique wineyards of Pico just a few minutes walk away. After climbing Mount Pico, you won't find a better place to relax with a well deserved wine. For sure a place where I could spend more than just a few days.

Pleasant accommodation, kitchen was really well equipped, big fridge, parking.

Everything was great! We stayed in the smaller property next to the large house. The property has great facilities including a fully equipped kitchen and washing machine, plus an outdoor washing line at the back of the property which was welcome as we’d been travelling for a while. We were able to check in a little early and they were also very generous with our check out time as we had a late flight. We met the owners who were in town and they went the extra mile to make sure all our needs were met and even gave us some homemade cake which was delicious! Thank you for a fantastic stay!
