Self Catering Accommodation in Parâmio

The home is situated in a lovely, sleepy village right in the middle of Montesinho Natural Park. The setting is perfect for relaxing and to serve as a base for doing the many beautiful hikes in the region. Can also cross the border to Spain easily and visit the Iberian wolf center to see the wolf they take care of there. The house was perfectly clean, and was so we'll equipped it felt like someone was loving there full time :)

A fantastic dog friendly cottage situated in a remote village in the heart of the national park. The cottage itself was very comfortable, cosy and was well equipped. The bed comfort was excellent so a good nights sleep can be guaranteed. Excellent walks available from the door through stunning countryside. We followed parts of the published PR walks, but supplemented this with the app “Mapycz” to find other footpaths to shorten the routes to a more reasonable 6 or 7km circular walk. I believe the owner has several cottages of various sizes in the village, and we stayed in a 1 bed cottage.

I feel very good, very clean, very beautiful view, big mountains can be seen, if I have time again I will come again to visit here.Very beautiful place, thanks Barriada ||, I got great pleasure in less time at limited cost.

Beautiful and comfortable studios with a nice view and lovely hosts. It was perfect for a quiet time away. The hosts are very attentive and send a list of suggestions for events and sights to see in the region, as well as restaurant recommendations. They gave us a welcome basket with delicious bread and homemade yoghurt and jam.

This accommodation was great! It is situated in a very quiet village with 2 signposted hikes leaving from the front door and fantastic scenery all around. Luis has a shop in the village, below the accommodation selling his delicious honey and other products. There is an open fire with wood for your use in winter and electric heating if you need it. The kitchen is very well equipped, the shower has a good pressure and the bedrooms are comfortable. All in all a lovely place to stay and relax for a few days. Thank you Luis and Maria!

The large comfortable house is in the best location of the village, from where you can make several beautiful walks through the area. The house stands on the village square, south facing with beautiful views of the surroundings. The host was super service minded and did everything he could to make our stay a success.

The location was exactly what we were looking for in a very quiet, calm place! The house was very comfortable, very well kept, super clean and with very good decoration! Felt like home!

Beautiful house, very spacious, spotless, furnished with good taste in traditional style. Upon arrival we were expected by our friendly host and we were met with delicious homemade jams, a wonderful freshly-baked cake, honey from the region, biscuits, fresh fruit… the house had everything you can possibly need and more. There is a little cosy garden too.
