The lodge was more than we expected. The layout was ideal with the rooms seperated from the main building. The house literally has everything one would require, the kitchen is fully stocked, and the ice machine was beneficial on the warm days. We booked the game viewer vehicle for two days and our entire group loved that we could get on a game viewer at our house and at the times we preferred. I would definitely go back to Milkwood Safari Lodge again.

The place exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived, we could see how much care and attention had gone into the property. It was beautifully maintained, very spacious, and perfectly suited for a large group. The house was well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, making it feel like a home away from home. One of the highlights was definitely the breathtaking view. Whether enjoying an early morning coffee or relaxing in the evening, the scenery created such a peaceful and enjoyable atmosphere. The outdoor areas were fantastic, with plenty of space for everyone to relax and spend time together. The instructions to enter the property were clear and easy to follow, and the road from the gate to the house was well paved and convenient to drive on. Access to the house itself was also simple and hassle-free. The swimming pool and jacuzzi were exceptionally clean and very well looked after, which made our stay even more enjoyable. It was clear that the owners and staff take pride in maintaining the property to a high standard. Just a note for future guests: although we received plenty of warnings from the property manager and the workers there, the baboons still managed to get the better of us! Future guests should not only close the doors, but lock them as well, otherwise the baboons will happily enjoy your breakfast and dinner before you do. Overall, we had an amazing stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. We will definitely be back.

OMG I went through all the reviews before booking and i was a little sceptical however,I took a leap of faith and boy i am grateful i did. Everything was perfect and perfect is an understatement. I used the back entrance to Mabalingwe which was the only reason I ended up speaking to the host cause i needed the code and she responded in time otherwise this was supposed to be a no contact stay ( that’s how easy) everything was. Was using a bigger car so no issues with the road. The pics on this app does not match it you must see it for yourself such a beautiful warm house. The cleanliness out of this world. Enough everything (utensils, cutlery etc) we were lucky to get visited but some cute animals every morning which was beautiful to see from the glass house. I am definitely coming back in winter

Absolutely everything was worth the trip from arrival to departure. Well organised. We made new fond memories with family and friends in a lovely and peaceful place. I LOVE the bushveld which is my second home by choice. Our host Lynette pre arranged our stay to the tee. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The unit is spacious and very clean with everything one would need. Home away from home. If you want to break free from the rat race then this is the place to come and unwind. The lodge is beautiful. It is a true home from home with everything you need. The fully equipped kitchen has a large island, comfortable to sit around while food is prepared. The stunning boma and swimming pool add to the outfoor feeling while bedrooms and bathrooms are furnished and decorated with extraordinary taste.
