Wonderful escape to a true gem in the jungle! We got spoiled by Luisa's fresh and locally sourced delicious food and her positive and kind personality. She organised a walk in the jungle which was a big adventure for us. But also the way from and to the airport was a seamless experience, with everyone involved super reliable. The cabana is in a great location, just a short walk directly to the long, beautiful beach. We really had a wonderful time and would recommend this place for everyone who wants to reconnect with nature and spend some days in paradise.

Villa Inesita was my favourite place to stay in Choco. The host and team are so kind, helpful and friendly. Nice friendly atmosphere with shared tables for meals. The food is the best I had in Choco (being vegetarian is not the normal thing here!) and they organise great excursions and activities. It was great and very convenient to be able to get dropped off at the airport with their boat rather than the public lancha.

I stayed 10 nights in La Roca House and I highly recommend it! Duber and Clemence are amazing hosts. They organise amazing activities (scuba diving, surf, fish trip, boat trip, tortugas and many others), and give you all the tips to make your trip an amazing memory. The place was clean, perfectly located (30m from the beach, next to a bar and snack, and a short walk from El valle). It felt really authentic and the best place to mix tourists with locals! We were supposed to stay 3 nights, ended up with 10. A great testimony to the place awesomeness! I will come back. Thanks again.

We loved this place!! Only a 30 second walk from a beautiful beach (el Almejal) , you can see the sea from the terrace, you can hear the waves when you sleep. The kitchen is really well equipped, we cooked lots of fish that we bought from the fishermen in the village !! Angelica and Santiago are lovely hosts, very attentive and caring. The house is sooo charming, you feel right at home. We will definitely recommend this place to anyone who comes to the Pacific and we would love to come back :) Best option in the area, very central for any activities or to get to any other tourist spots in this area.

We had an absolutely wonderful time in El Valle, entirely thanks to Alejandro, who could not have been kinder to us. We received the warmest of welcomes and were so well looked after from the second we arrived until the moment we left when he arranged our taxi and walked us down the beach to it! His house is absolutely amazing - beautiful and so comfortable with everything you need - and in a stunning location, right on the beach. You can sit on the deck (or lie in the hammock), watch the tide come and go, see crabs, lizards, birds (including hummingbirds!), butterflies and even basilisks We were so grateful to him for all his advice re. tours and arranging them all for us - we went snorkelling at playa blanca and two other beaches and saw a huge variety of beautiful fish (and a sea snake!) and went on a night boat ride / hike where we saw frogs (big and tiny), luminescent fungi and scorpions, caiman, bats and incredibly, a snake catching prey! Our whole stay was absolutely exceptional, and it is all because Alejandro is absolutely exceptional. We left feeling very humbled by his warmth, generosity and kindness and grateful to have met such a wonderful person who opened his home and way of life to us. Thank you so much again for everything - already looking forward to returning one day!
