As an overnight stop in the centre of France, it's extremely well located. But in fact, due to the quality of the accommodation and welcome, as well as the many interesting local places to visit (check out the Unesco World Heritage 13th century stained-glass windows in Bourges!), we felt we would have liked to stay at least another night.

Beautiful location, with extensive grounds where we were able to walk the dogs. We really enjoyed the tasting dinner menu. We often stay in Bourges as it’s a convenient stop on our frequent trips from the UK to Spain and this is by far the best hotel we have stayed at. We will definitely be back.

We stayed for just one night while passing through the Loire Valley, but this accommodation met all our needs and wishes. On the ground floor, there was a nicely sized living room and kitchen. We could even log into our own Netflix account on the TV and watch it :). Upstairs, there were two bedrooms with a shower area. The beds, duvets, and pillows were very comfortable. There was convenient parking in the yard, and next to the door there was a key box with a code. A large grocery store was very close by. This would also be good for a longer stay to expore the area, since there was a washing machine, big kitchen with all cooking things etc. The host was also very kind and attentive :)
