An excellent location either for visiting the nearby beaches on foot or as a starting point for discovering the island by car (it has its own parking lot nearby). The apartment has two air conditioners, a nice bathroom and a kitchen with all the necessary appliances, we lacked nothing. Of course, as others have mentioned, the host was really welcoming and helpful.

This house was gorgeous. The house was light and spacious and very tastefully decorated. There was air conditioning which was a bonus as the weather was very hot. The kitchen was well equipped, including a washer/dryer. The house was easy to access by foot from the ferry. There were grocery shops close by, restaurants and cafes all very close by. There are a couple of bars and restaurants close by that are really lovely and have great sea views. There are some beach areas close by to the house which were ok but we chose to walk to the beach the other side of the town which was near the church which has plenty of shade, a park and a beach bar close by. Vis was a lovely peaceful island, fairly unspoilt by tourism. It did seem a little expensive and I think this is partly due to the fact that there seems to be lots of yachts sailing to the island and staying.
