The view is spectacular. The fireplace in the chilly nights is awesome. You can do barbecue and enjoy on call breakfast or dinner in the open air living room. A rare find in an awesome part of Bali. Jatiluwih and surrounginds are a real jem away from the noisy Ubud. Our drivers Nia and Adi recommended by the staff took us to awesome places. Memorable stay, would come back again. The Bamboo Forrest Restaurant 5 minutes away from the Cabins in the Forrest is not to be missed as well.

Surrounded by rice paddies, looking through a coconut grove at the crushing waves at the beach while sitting on the veranda of our cosy A-frame cabin we felt like minor gods on the island of gods. The endless beach empty, our stomachs full with the simple but delicious dinner, listening to the birds, the frogs and the cicadas we feared the day we had to leave. Every single person on the staff was friendly, helpful and competent. Much of this - including many design choices - Desa Cabins owes to Diana, the woman who runs the place. Thank you Diana, Nanda, Bungi, ... and all the others who's names I shouldn't have forgotten.

The location is great if you are looking for a rural place faraway of the super tourist spots like Canggu o Ubud. It is 30-1h in a taxi from those spot anyways. The place looks exactly as in Booking. It is really beutiful. Views from the balcony towards rice field and the sea are wonderful. The breakfast and food many is somehow basic, but it is good and really cheap. There is always a person in site, more than enough considering that the hotel has 4 rooms.

Surrounded by paddy fields and overlooking the Indian Ocean, this family-friendly resort features spacious duplex villas with balconies, kitchens and dining areas.

The staff were great and very helpful. The location is ideal if you want to get away from it all. The villas are top notch and comfortable beds and we enjoyed the pool area. We tried local dishes and enjoyed it very much. Ariana the owner was around and shared info on the wonderful initiatives they've implemented for the school in the village nearby. I had a full body massage with coconut oil, excellent therapist. Keen to go back and spend more time there..

We had a great stay at the villa. Everything was very clean and well maintained, and the villa was cleaned regularly. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and always quick to respond to any questions or requests. A special thank you to Priska, Tiara, and Dewi for being so kind and attentive throughout our stay. The villa itself has a beautiful modern renovation, and everything felt comfortable and well taken care of. Overall, a really pleasant stay — we would definitely come back!
