We've been travelling in India for 7 weeks and this is one of the best places we've stayed in. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable and the rest of the property was the same. The location is excellent with everything walking distance away. Shaan and his staff were really helpful and ensured our stay was very enjoyable with restaurant recommendations and reservations for the local cultural centre to enjoy traditional dance.

It is very close to the Guruvayoor Temple, which made our visit extremely convenient. Overall, a great option for a comfortable and hassle-free stay near the temple.

Incredible Bindu and her amazing mom makes sure of that. Bindu helps you with everything you need. Her mother cooks delicious homemade meals. Wonderful women. And the atmosphere of the place is just truly beautiful and wholesome. Filled with plants and love - the two terraces full of plants and flowers are just magical. I HIGHLY recommend.

My houseboat trip with Kalappura Houseboats was amazing. I was traveling solo and felt very well taken care of throughout. The boat was beautiful and one of the nicest I saw in the backwaters - with a comfortable room, excellent food, and a fantastic route. The crew was incredibly supportive and made sure everything ran smoothly. A special highlight was the morning tour on a smaller boat, which allowed us to explore the quieter, narrower parts of the backwaters. I can highly recommend Kalappura Houseboats when visiting Alleppey.
