We only stayed one night there, as we were taking the ferry to Split the next day. We liked the location (which turned out to be quite a short walking distance to restaurants and shops) although when the taxi driver dropped us off at the address, we couldn't initially see any entrance. I think we were expecting an obvious sign that said Palazzo Marchetti but there wasn't one that stood out. We asked a nearby shopkeeper who pointed us to the door! We'd also forgotten to read the check-in details and as the outer door was locked, I called the number I had on WhatsApp and got an immediate friendly response and instructions on how to enter the apartment. Once in the apartment everything was great. It was very roomy and comfortable and the air-conditioning was lovely and cool. There were packets of biscuits and crackers there for our breakfast, as well as tea and coffee. In fact we were so comfortable there (and so tired) that we slept in the next day and missed the checkout time! I messaged an apology though, and was told it was ok because the cleaning staff was running late anyway, so we had time to get ourselves ready and leave to catch our ferry. This was very much appreciated!

Thanks to her tips, we discovered some amazing spots we would’ve otherwise missed. We even decided to extend our stay by one more night, and she kindly arranged everything so we could keep the same room. Everything was perfect – we honestly have nothing to complain about. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

Establecido en Sirolo, a 10 minutos a pie de Urbani Beach, AleMar Sirolo dispone de vistas a la ciudad. The host Marco texted us the location of the parking lot before arriving and met with us there. He helped carrying our luggage to the guesthouse (less than 5 min away from the parking lot). The parking lots are for free and belong to the place. Marco showed us the centre of the town and where we could have breakfast. (You get vouchers for having breakfast at a café/ restaurant there, also less than 5 min away from the guesthouse.) He then showed us around the guesthouse, there is a small shared kitchen for preparing coffee or tea (which are for free) or small meals. He also recommended us beaches, places and restaurants to go to. The place is very cosy, the bed was comfortable and the location is quiet and peaceful. To get to the beach you'll have to walk down a steep hill (and walk it up again later), depending on the season you can also take the car. The little town has plenty of restaurants, many were closed (it was October) but there were still many options. We had lunch and breakfast at L'oasi, both were very good. We definitely recommend staying at AleMar!
