I stayed five nights in the women's only dormitory. The room is very clean and the bed is very comfortable. The entire facility is very clean, well designed and well thought out. The host has put lots of effort and heart into everything. It offers the warmth, comfort, and peace that every traveler would enjoy. I certainly did! At last the host is such a lovely and kind individual!

Location is in the center of pretty much everything. It’s a short driving distance from Niyodo Blue, Nakatsu Gorge, Shikoku Karst, and Kochi city. It’s a perfect base if you want to explore the area around. The Ochi village itself is also very serene and beautiful. The house is impeccably clean, well-designed, spacious, cozy and very comfortable. You can see the river and submerged bridge from the house. The house is fully equipped with everything one would need during a trip and more. We’re especially impressed with the kitchen. It is a full function kitchen. You can cook some seriously nice food in it. We bought some good quality beef and cooked it in the kitchen and it was one of the nicest meals we had on this trip. We stayed here for 2 nights but we wish we had more time to spend here. Chris, the host is a very attentive and helpful host. He gave us a lot of useful advice for the trip. We had the best experience here and would love to come back soon.

There was lots of space in the communal areas. It was all kept very clean and the property is good value for money. Opposite a train station and nearby parking for easy transport links.

A beautiful house with a unique interior, absolutely loved the ocean theme of the house and everyone was super friendly! Super clean, cute and a very memorable stay. Would come back for sure, maybe in the summer!

Fabulous host, stunning location, great accommodation. Tomoko looked after us so well, dropped off some provisions, gave detailed advice of walks. We tried to use every bit of pottery during our five day stay but failed. What a selection. The views from the balcony were sublime, the remoteness a joy.
