It was a lovely mango farm. It was so calm. The room was a good size. We had dinner and breakfast there and the food was really good. The staff were helpful and organised us tuktuks and drivers so we could do sight seeing.

We stayed for 2 nights at Sigiri Sandalu Homestay and it was pure bliss! Waking up in the stilted room to the sound of birds and the calm atmosphere was incredible. The view of Lion Rock every morning is absolutely unmissable. We also really enjoyed the hearty breakfasts and the great local tips shared by the lovely family. Everything was perfect—we highly recommend this homestay!

Everything was great. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped, there's a small swimming pool that was great for moments of the day in between activities, the breakfast is amazing (Sri Lankan but they also bought milk and cereals for our children after they asked if we had a preference!). Chandima also helped arrange some transportation and a safari, and gave us tips for where to eat and how much to pay. They were all so kind with us and with the children. We also had some light dinners or snacks that we'd bought and they let us use some utensils from their kitchen. The location was convenient as we'd get to many places in Dambulla in tuktuk or walking and we used Dambulla as a base for activities in the area. Very much recommend to stay there.

From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming and genuinely friendly. The location is perfect — peaceful yet close to all main attractions like the Dambulla Cave Temple and Sigiriya. The room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, with great attention to detail. We loved Ruwan and he’s family that welcomed us very warmly. We had dinner at the lodge restaurant and the food was delicious (homemade and organic). Ruwan was our driver and guide for the stay and took us to the best places. He’s very generous, friendly and is always in a great mood! The tree house is amazing and a great place to relax! We highly recommend it for all the reasons!
