Family-run place with a very warm and attentive local touch. The family is lovely and the room is brand new. The outdoor shower under the coconut tree was my favorite part. The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood located between the village and the beach area, making it easy to explore everything. We rented bikes and could get around quickly everywhere. Highly recommended.

It was direct at the beach very quiet and calm, our children could play in the garden with toys which were given. We were greeted with flowers and a welcome drink, everything was there for a beach side stay. Airport transfer

We had an amazing time at Kandakuliya Sunrise! The whole experience was truly unforgettable. We enjoyed kite surfing and even got the chance to see dolphins, which was incredible. Everything was well organized and the atmosphere was very relaxing. The food was delicious and the hospitality was excellent. Thank you so much for making our stay so special. Highly recommended!

Loved everything about the stay, we had the place to ourselves and were really spoiled by the hosts. It was like we were staying with family. The property is situated on the banks of a lovely river and we spent breakfast watching the Red Eagles play. The main street with plenty of restaurants and shops is around 15 minutes walk along quiet streets which are mainly unlit, so think about a small torch if walking back at night. We only booked for a couple of nights before moving further south but could easily have spent a chilled week here. Would definitely recommend for those seeking a bit of solitude and relaxation. The owner drove us in to Nogombo one evening, which was very kind of him. He was a lovely man and rightfully proud of his hotel, the staff were excellent as well.

We stayed as a couple for 11 days in this beautiful cottage 1 minute from the beach. It is so quiet and you can relax and retreat very well. There is also a whale skeleton and several beaches are within walking distance. It is also a kitesurfing paradise and there are many donkeys here. You can easily cater for yourself, but there are also several restaurants nearby. The owners are next door and are happy to help at every opportunity. We would come back any time. :-)

The place was fantastic, and we had an amazing time as a group. The swimming pool was a lot of fun, and everything was very clean. The two caretakers were extremely helpful, and the owner was kind and always available to assist. Overall, it was an amazing experience. The only minor issue was the low water pressure in the upper bathroom.
