Activities & Entertainment What truly set this experience apart were the water sports activities available right at our doorstep. The organisers offered fantastic rates, and watching our children's faces light up with joy as they tried snorkelling, kayaking and paddleboarding made our holiday truly special. The proximity meant we could enjoy these activities spontaneously without any hassle. Facilities & Comfort The villa's kitchen is a chef's dream: fully equipped with modern appliances and everything needed to prepare anything from quick breakfasts to elaborate family dinners. We had a fantastic few weeks at Mangalam House. Owners Noel and Sofia were incredibly warm and generous, and Malar and David looked after the home with daily care that made our stay so easy and relaxing. The house was beautifully renovated—cool and comfortable in the Trincomalee heat—and filled with love, both in its design and peaceful garden. We loved the location: just down the road from the beach and harbour, with shops right across the street. The bicycles provided added an extra touch of joy and helped us live like locals. Mangalam House is a real sanctuary—we’d return in a heartbeat.

If you go to Nilaveli, go to Nimal's White House!! He is a great person and always there if you need him. He has a warm heart and is very funny. He took us to see crocodiles in the wild and to see the sunset at his favorite spot. Thank you for everything Nimal !!❤️ we will never forget you!
