We rented a small super cozy cottage, only for a night sadly but everything was nice and clean, also the breakfast was nice 🙂

The cottage is a simple very modern and comfortable place. Lovely views of forest and snow covered grass garden. It is well equipped and spotlessly clean. The furniture is simple and comfortable. The owners live next door and spoke fluent english and were charming and helpful. Nearby there is a beautiful lake and some really nice old villages and hiking trails. We drove the 3 hours to the Norwegian border through some wonderful snow covered landscape and visited the skiing areas to soak up the winter atmosphere. I recommend this cottage if you want to enjoy the local hikes, lake and villages and also the nice small town of Mora.

We had a wonderful stay at Lasse and Chia's beautiful home in Leksand. The house itself was charming and comfortable, and the surroundings were peaceful and picturesque. But what truly made our stay special was Lasse and Chia's warm hospitality. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and at home, and their generosity was much appreciated. We would highly recommend Lasse and Chia's place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Leksand.
