The apartment is big and can accommodate 4 people. It was very easy to meet with the host. She explained all details clearly. the air conditioner kept the entire property warm all night long. The property has a nice balcony and a free space for car parking. The Wi-fi worked well. I also like the cleanness of the property.

The apartment is very new and has been lovingly created with great attention to detail; from traditional window frames which form part of the banisters, to the beautiful wooden floors and the wood-burning oven. The apartment is well-equipped, towels and bedding are provided and if we needed anything else then we only had to ask and our host provided it immediately. We were given fresh milk, apples, coffee and sweets upon arrival which we much appreciated! The apartment is located above the pizzeria and if you order the delicious pizzas everything is brought up to your terrace (including cutlery, plates and sauces) and you can eat in your own little space whilst listening to the owls call. We ate all our meals on the terrace with beautiful views over the rolling countryside, the lake beyond the trees and the mountains in the distance. Markovci is a sweet little town, with two shops, a pharmacy and an amazing ice cream shop! The village is just a few minutes walk from the lake and a stunning nature reserve. The gorgeous town of Ptuj is just a short drive away and well worth a visit (or two). It is true that the walls are a little thin and you can hear the apartment next door. But this wasn’t a problem as they got up and went to bed about the same time as we did. The apartment had air conditioning which was excellent during the summer heat. All in all we loved our stay, we felt very welcome and were impressed by our host, the apartment, the village and indeed Slovenia as a whole. We would love to come again, thank you for a lovely stay!

Featuring garden views, Villa Boris offers accommodation with balcony, around 18 km from Maribor Train Station. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The apartment features family rooms. An excellent, relaxing place, extremely clean, modern and cozy. It had everything you could wish for and even more, including a high class coffee machine! Really nothing to complain about, the place and the surroundings exceeded our expectations by far!
