I didn't plan to travel Sanyi but prices were just crazy during weekend in Taichung and Puli so i gave a try... and honestly it was worth it. Good and clean hostel with friendly and helpful owner. I recommend a stop here and go hike Huoyanshan mountain .

The room was spacious and comfortable. The internet was wonderful. The owner was simply fantastic! 二姑娘 made us feel perfectly at home. The breakfast every morning was different and was so delicious. There was even a tea corner where we could chill and drink tea. Thank goodness we were stranded there during the typhoon and not somewhere else. We had the best stay of our trip there. The owner brought us to quirky cafes and recommended places for us to go to. Book your stay here and you won’t regret it. It has spoilt us for all other accommodation.

I was travelling with my elderly parents. There were two rooms downstairs and they each had a room. I appreciated it because my dad wasn't feeling well and needed the extra speace to rest. Upstairs, my family of 5 was allowed to take up 3 rooms. The host helped us to order and deliver dinner.
