We enjoyed pleasant leisurely walks both of historical and architectural interest particularly on Benefit Street, stunning restored colonial homes, churches, and museums. A diverse dining experience within 20 -25 minutes walking distance from the property, offering excellent hospitality: high quality cuisine and good value for money. The purpose for my visit obtaining a copy of my late sister's French Thesis from Brown University; Elaine graduated with an MA in French studies in 1974. It is clear that the host has thought of the little details that matter: the room-based wall ACs allow each guest to adjust their comfort; easy access to WiFi; luxurious towels and soap, and blankets and beds; cooking was a breeze with the large refrigerator, deep sink and all relevant cooking appliances; the home was flooded with natural light and the easy entry and exit codes made this stay perfect. Not to mention the parking!!! And it turns out the owner is a veteran, I noticed the sign right away. Love being able to support an entrepreneurial veteran who clearly continues to support his community and ensures that is thrives!

Also not far from the beach, cliff walk & the mansions. Wineries are not far either. If you love seafood & don't mind cooking, anthonys fishmarket is up the road & reasonably priced.
