The staff were incredibly friendly and able to help with any small issues, promptly. The rooms and bathroom are spacious. We were able to do our laundry, and asked reception for additional hangers, so we could dry everything outside on the balcony. It is walking distance to a lively park and square, plenty of convenience stores and shops around. Can walk to the port for boat tours in around 15 minutes. There are a few cracks in the walls and the room could definitely do with a fresh lick of paint, however this is just me being picky.

Had some issues with the outgoing transport not wanting to pick up at the location. She assisted and called them up to settle the issue. What a champ. Since the homestay is located in the alleyway with a small provision store upfront, locals tend to congregate to chat and drink there. It can get a little loud at times but stops after a certain time, it’s the local experience I suppose.

The dining area has a small kitchen that's fully equipped—with an induction cooktop, microwave, dishes, and even essentials like fish sauce, soy sauce, cooking oil, and a full set of spices. Man, the young host, was super thoughtful and paid attention to everything we needed.
