Set in Andermatt in the Uri region, 150 metres from Andermatt ski lift, The Base Andermatt offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. The hotel is near to the train station and to the funicular. We were first afraid that it can be loud because of trains, but it was very comfortable. It has everything for a long stay. The owner is very friendly. Breakfast is included!

Before arrival I'd had much communication with Ewa as we gained an additional friend on our journey. She was great - so weloming - she left the door unlocked so we were able to get in as soon as we arrived. She came to welcome us and showed us around, advised about parking etc The place was lovely - very comfy rooms and a well stocked kitchen. The coffee machine was ready for use. Excellent value for money.

Free public bus was right across the street that could take us anywhere in town. Ski run was a short walk from the apartment. Garage for parking our car was very convenient. Place was very clean and fully stocked!
