The owner and his mother were so kind, they gave us many advice and news about the current event and matsuri. The house is a lovely japanese one with a nice view on the river. It was very big and comfortable for our family. All necessary equipment (bath, laundry, towels, kitchen..);and also nice gifts 😁. It also work like a small conbini as you can buy noodle, drinks whatever you need in the house.

There are private onsen, you can use it whenever you like. The dinner was so delicious. It's Hida beef bbq which is very famous in the area.

Situated in a tranquil area in Gifu Region, a 52-minute drive away from JR Takayama Station, Mozumo boasts a hot-spring bath and rooms decorated with modern Japanese interior. This was the best place I stayed in during me & my husband's 2 week Japan trip and not coincidentally, where we decided to celebrate our wedding anniversary. For me, it was probably once in a lifetime and it was totally worth to get the full experience: huge space, private onsen, kaieseki dinner and breakfast served in the room. We didn't even leave the room once we checked in and the place plus the vibes really connected us with the surrounding nature. The most relaxing place I've been to!

This ryokan stands out for its excellent service. All the staff were cheerful, polite, and genuinely welcoming. Both dinner and breakfast were thoughtfully prepared, with a wide variety of dishes and excellent taste. You really shouldn’t eat too much beforehand, as the dinner here is plentiful and delicious. The location is great for those planning to visit Kamikochi — it’s just a short walk from the bus station to the ryokan. It’s a perfect place to relax and recover after exploring Kamikochi. Thank you to all the staff for taking such good care of me and my family.

Reopened after renovation in 2022, Auberge Hidanomori is situated in quiet hills, a 10-minute shuttle ride from JR Takayama Station. We had such an excellent stay at this aubege! Toshi san met us at the train station and within 10 minutes we were in a very quiet place of this auberge. It was a serene stay with delicious breakfast and dinner. Toshi san also has an impressive natural wine selection. We highly recommend getting dinner there. We wish we could stay longer, but it was fully booked for the next nights.

Offering traditional Japanese-style accommodation with spacious public baths, Yatsusankan Over 6 years old is a 6-minute walk from JR Hidafurukawa Train Station. The breakfast and dinner are delicious. Onsen is great. There is shuttle service between ryokan and train station. The massage chair is really good.

Location, private onsen in the suite, kaiseki dinner is elegant and delicious, so is the delicious breakfast, both served in our room, it’s a great experience. The staffs are very warm and helpful. It gave free entrance ticket to the big public onsen which is a great extra benefit.

Really nice and cosy accommodation. The hosts were very friendly and went above and beyond to help us when we needed it. Highly recommend.

Objekat Apollon se nalazi u četvrti Gujo Hachiman u gradu Gudžo, na 5 min. hoda od znamenitosti Gujohachiman Rakugeikan, 400 m od znamenitosti Koko no mori Museum Yudokan i 5 min. Beautiful location and view of the river from the room we stayed in. Friendly host. The property had all the necessary amenities and was of a good size.
