We arrived late at night, in winter. The heating in the apartment was already on! We came with children, so it was excellent that all the beds were already made! and Super clean.

We wanted to break up the drive from Bergen to Oslo ranger than try to do it in one day. We had a more relaxing drive and saw a lot of Hardanherfjord this way. It was mid May so the skiers were gone, I crowded and inexpensive even with the cleaning fee. Great apartment, comfortable and well appointed.

It is cosy and feel like home place. Interior is extremely beautiful. It is well thought and comfortable living. The host Alina is super nice and sweet. She is very helpful ans caring.

The owner helped with changes in our booking and answered all questions. They were very welcoming even when we arrived late after last checkin time. The house is is old but the rooms are new and clean. Lots of details gives it that homely feeling and the common room felt like stepping into someones livingroom. Each room has its own key. Kitchen is shared and modern. The bed was a bit too soft for me but I slept well. We will come again next time we visit Hemsedal.

Great Hotel, excellent choice. We had a short stay and it was during summer, so not much to see around but I would imagine it is a perfect place to stay during winter. It feels like very warm place as it has a lot of wooden interior, warm lighting and a fire place

We never expected to find ourselves staying in a cozy mountain cabin above the clouds—it truly felt like a fairytale retreat. The moment we arrived, we were greeted by a dreamlike atmosphere with mist swirling around the cottage, like stepping into another world. Opening the door, we were immediately charmed by the personal touch: the owner had cleverly repurposed old skis into a coat rack, a lovely nod to their passion for skiing and a great example of creative reuse. Inside, the living area was spotless and inviting, filled with a warm, homely vibe. The use of different wood tones for the floor, walls, and ceiling gave the space both character and a sense of thoughtful design. The kitchen was impressively well-equipped—we only wished we had brought some steaks to take full advantage of it! Even the bathroom exceeded our expectations: it was spacious, clean, and extremely comfortable to use. This stay was peaceful, cozy, and full of delightful surprises. Highly recommended for anyone looking to escape into a little mountain paradise!
