Amazing place, I wish I'd stay longer.

I loved everything but to name a few: the stunning beach that even has a walkway into the ocean, the hotel staff’s attention to guest, the gym, the location, the spa and overall the smell of flowers/plants all over the resort. The resort has a charm that all those large hotels (that are so impersonal) miss out on. There was always plenty of food so even the pickiest eater can find something. There is entertainment most of the night and twice a week there is massai dinner/entertainment.

Unfortunately we could only stay for one night. Staff, location, facilities, cleanliness, food, all excellent.

Perfect location, Pingwe is the place you want to be, local community on the beach, sandbank right next to the facility, boats that take you to the starfish in 5 minutes, great bathroom with a pleasant breeze, very good restaurant (I recommend beef, we had no luck with pasta), well managed by the owner

Everything was excellent, from being greeted as we arrived to check in by Lilian, taken to a truly amazing room (one of the best rooms we have stayed in anywhere in the world), and then the food prepared by a great team led by Chef Suneel, who catered to my special food requirement superbly every day. All the staff were fantastic and made us feel like honored guests - special mention to Stephen, Benson, James and Samba a in the bars and Ezekiel and Neema for meals service as well as Lilian and Chef Suneel. Very professional team, very nice to see in a new hotel. The entire hotel was spotlessly clean, and constantly maintained. Pools and beach fantastic!

Lovely hotel with friendly staff and relaxing atmosphere. The owner and whole staff made my stay extremely enjoyable, making sure Im well taken care of. I had lovely food, one of the best I've eaten in Zanzibar, tasty mocktails and a relaxing time by the pool. In the evening, i enjoyed horse riding by the sunset. I recommend visiting Michamvi. The beach is beautiful, with a lovely sunset, music, and small shows in the evening. It is one of my favourite places in Zanzibar if you are looking for a good atmosphere and relaxation!

My stay at this accommodation was one of the most wonderful experiences I’ve had while traveling! The hotel is beautiful, clean, and very comfortable, with a perfect location; peaceful, yet close to everything you might need. The pool is clean, well-maintained, and ideal for relaxing after a day of exploring. The food was excellent; delicious, fresh, and prepared with great care. What impressed me the most was their hospitality and the effort they made to make me feel at home. As a guest from Croatia, they even surprised me with homemade ćevapi in the middle of Africa! That detail truly shows how much they care about their guests. The hosts are extremely kind, warm, and always ready to help. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine desire to make your stay as pleasant as possible make this place truly special. I felt safe, relaxed, and welcome from the first to the last day. If you’re looking for a place with great service, fantastic food, a beautiful atmosphere, and a homely feeling-this is the perfect choice. Highly recommended! I will definitely come back again.

The staff were very friendly and accomodating, the food was amazing with always a lot of variety at all meals. Our rooms got cleaned everyday and they helps us organising activities.

The location is a little far, however my entire stay was amazing. All the staff were amazing. The most welcoming and kind people I have ever met. After the safari adventure, we spent four unforgettable days at Zawadi Hotel in Zanzibar this September. Without a doubt, this is the best hotel we have ever stayed at, and it deserves every bit of praise. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the sheer beauty of the property. The entire area feels like a slice of paradise, with lush, manicured gardens and vibrant flowers creating a tranquil oasis. Every detail is carefully attended to, making the surroundings feel magical. The villas were absolutely spotless and beautifully designed, offering the perfect blend of comfort and luxury. The highlight of our stay, however, was the food. Every meal was served à la carte, and each dish was excellent—imaginative, delicious, and prepared with great care. Dining at Zawadi was a true culinary delight. The staff at Zawadi set a new standard for hospitality. From the warm and welcoming reception team, especially the lovely Noura, to the attentive F&B staff and even the gardeners, everyone we encountered was genuinely kind and went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. One of the most memorable experiences was the guided tour through the gardens, which was both informative and enjoyable (feeding the donkey was almosts as exciting as safari!). We also loved the little touches, like sundowners served in our villa and the creative gin and tonic menu. Zawadi Hotel is a place we will never forget. It’s more than a hotel—it’s an experience. We’re already dreaming of returning and cannot recommend it highly enough. If you’re looking for a slice of paradise, Zawadi is the place to be.

Beautiful hotel! We got an upgrade to a swim up room! Loved the welcome fruit basket, the environment is to die for! The staff, from the managers, chef, housekeepers were all very friendly.

This small resort with about 20 rooms was recently renovated. ( OBS the photos at Booking.com show the rooms before the renovation!) The rooms were nicely decorated and the beds comfortable. We were even offered the spacious bridal suite for our 9 days stay; it had a balcony with a view of the Michamvi bay. What a nice surprise! The food is good and varied, and the three course dinners (with both fish, meat and vegetarian options) are served at different locations every night. The female manager Shirley did an excellent job, and she was supported by a whole team of pleasant and service oriented staff members.

We had the best time staying at Qambani with out 2 kids (2,5y and 4,5y)! Every single individual working there was absolutely exceptional - always so kind, helpful and warm. They helped us organize all our activities and transfers and they prepared such special bday celebration for me. The property is beautiful, very relaxing and peaceful. Food is delicious. Dreamy holidays for sure

We stayed in a sea view villa and it was bright, spacious and very clean. The small yard and the jacuzzi were really nice. Having the morning coffe in nature, looking at small monkeys for as was a true reaxation. All this resort is like a bothanical and zoological garden. The masai make you fell very safe. In the morning we had buffet breakfast, variated and very good. In the evenings a la carte menu alternated with buffet. The food was very tastefull, delicios and the waiters very carefull, polite, fast and always at our service. It were 5 wonderfull days and for sure this is a place where we'll return. By the way, the beach are is the most beautiful you can find in al the area.

Excellent food, villas, privacy, staff

Everything, staff were so friendly and anticipated everything you need even remembering favourite drinks and assisting with smooth check out and in. Even laying out breakfast early when you had trips. Food was exceptional and so was cocktails. Bungalows were beautiful with private cabana’s all room fittings were highest quality. Great pillows and mattress.
