This place is absolutely marvellous. in the middle of the countryside, perfect for families with children. Bonus? Never have we had such a delicious breakfast, prepared with love by the lovely owners!

Located in a beautiful green park, La Butte aux Bois a Small Luxury Hotel of the World is a stylish hotel from 1924 with luxurious rooms and an elegant restaurant at the entrance of National Park Hoge... We had a fantastic experience at La Butte aux Bois. We often stay at luxury hotels and occasionally find them disappointing when they don’t meet expectations, but that was not the case here. Everything was exceptional—wonderful staff, excellent rooms, top-notch facilities, and a great atmosphere.

Hidden away behind a little cobblestone path, Freddy (the owner) has created a place that has everything you need to relax and wind down. Lots of space, both inside and outside, a swimming pond, a sauna and hottub, hammocks, BBQs and fireplaces. Surrounded by lush, green terrain abundant with birds and of course, the donkeys. I'll miss the sound of them... The surrounding areas are good for walking/cycling, but you won't find much in terms of bars/restaurants/shops. Whether that's good or bad depends on what you're looking for.
